Meant to make this yesterday but it totally slipped my mind. Anyway... uh... we can start playing now. I finally found my memory card a few days ago, so I'll be joining in soon. I'm sure a lot of us (including me) are still a bit into AP but... well, I'm sure we can work something or another out.

Yay! I'm gonna be a little slow at first (considering that I'm taking the lowest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in Arkansas on Sunday, and want to prepare for that ^^), but I shall be active once I get back.
I also decided that I wanted to chronicle my experience in video, soo... http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=636BF0B9458AD638 All I have thus far is my first day. XD (Well, technically, first two days.) I don't think I'll record EVERY day, but... I'll do that sometimes. ^^ Just for fun. And maybe to get more people interested in it. |

Maybe there should be a little anounncement about this to get more people involved if they have MM? I think some people may not realize that it's started.

Wow, I completely forgot about this. I'll join in a couple days time, vacation doesn't start until the 24th though. Don't expect me to keep par.

I've been catching up on the days I missed. Should we be keeping track of when we get notes or say build a barn and get our first animal? Are we going to compete at all?

I thought we were going to compete at least a little... but probably not since most people aren't starting at the same time because of AP. =\

I suppose I'll go ahead and start. I don't know how much I'll get done, but we'll see.

Since I don't have AP yet I'm playing this so as long as I keep track on what I do in year one, is it okay if I continue to go on to year 2 if I get to that point? I'm only in summer so I may not but, you never know.

Sure. Go for it. Just remember to keep us updated like I hope that the rest of anyone playing will do.

I'm planning to start a file tomorrow. I've had stuff to do that made it so I wouldn't have time to sit and play long enough to bother trying until then, sorry for my lateness.

I got the Wii version again for $15, so I'll start a file. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)

IdlersDream: That's a good idea, actually. I shall start taking notes, too (and try to make a video chronicling some random day about 2-3 times a season, 'cuz it's fun).
I tried to do some catching up this evening, but didn't get very far. It's taking me longer to try to re-learn everything, lol. But I think I've pretty muich got the hang of things again. I'm up to the 12th of spring. Tomorrow, I should have most of the day free, so I can do some more catching up then. ^^ I've been growing breadfruit in order to make money... Don't have much cash yet, but I got the medium-sized rucksack so I can hold more items, and JUST got the copper watering can. Yay~. I'll bet watering my 32+ breadfruit plants will still take up the majority of my stamina, though. >.> |

Okay, I've been selling tons of ores and still no Blacksmith! Do I HAVE to sell a rare ore in order to get him or just a bunch of random ores? My walkthrough {official..} just says sell a bunch of ores and he'll move in.

Day one thoughts: J has moved into the Azure Farm. Completely ignored everything anyone said.
Day two thoughts: Wha'd'ya mean the seed store is closed on the first day? Who's idea was this? Day three thoughts: So I see a bunny and get a heart above my head. Terry thinks I'm going to hurt the animals because of this. I'm wary of the implications, and moreso that Jaime is roaming the area at night. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-gonk.gif) Day three thoughts: Man, I forgot how weak Tito was. It's unbelievable that just watering two plots of cabbage would nearly take me out. Day four: I got five musical notes. and then nothing happened on day five. Hooray! |

Day two thoughts: Wha'd'ya mean the seed store is closed on the first day? Who's idea was this? Yeah, that irked me too. >< Why Monday, of all days? Why?? I'm concentrating on getting the Sanatorium first, 'cuz I love Dia and Gina. So I end up spending most of my days foraging... And, man, is it just me, or does time pass reeeeaaaaaly quickly in this game? If I have lots of breadfruit ripe, I don't usually finish shipping/watering until 2 or 3 PM. Then I don't finish foraging until about midnight. It's crazy. I try to talk to people/give fish to Joe and Ray whenever I can, just to start befriending people. (And fish are easy to get.) And it seems to be working, since Ray is at 2 hearts now and Joe at 1 heart. Yay. |

I've only gotten about two weeks into the game so far, but I'll go ahead and post what I've done.
First week I managed to get 13 notes. Yes, I got all the super easy ones... Also planted some potatoes, bought the ten slot rucksack, got Alex to one heart and had a little over 1000g at the end of the week. Second week I got my note total up to 17, planted some moondrop flowers, bought the ocean land plot to build a coop and barn on as soon as I can, got Alex to two hearts and a couple other people to one heart, now have 25 villagers in town and ended my week with a whopping 20g to my name. Hey, it got me the poor note, I'm happy. And that's as far as I've gotten. |
