I actually liked the beginning sequence of "Legend of Link." Well done, for a home made type thing.

I saw this the day it came out and as with the first one, I am still not please. Over the past couple years I have gone from "FANTHINGS SHOULD BE DESTROYED IN THE MOST DREADFUL WAY," to "As long as it's well done and achieve what it aims, I won't complain too loudly about it."

This seems like one of those things that is aiming high and will fall horribly below the mark. While I respect that they are seriously trying to make put an effort into this, I still don't like that they will probably butcher the series with their film.

Honestly, I love the game of Zelda but I know this movie is gonna suck.

It should be left Japanese hands because they made the game and they know the feel and depth that the movie should have. And Link is supposed to be half that size in the beginning. He also is supposed to hardly ever talk.

I think the Japanese should make one and make it computer generated type of anime, that way it will feel like the game but with graphics that are even better, and if they aren't basing it off the the games then it should be made by the Japanese 'cause they make the best new Zelda stories in each game and would probably make a better movie.

But that's just my opinion.

Gah, for crying out loud link had BLOND hair. To be perfectly honest, I'd rather see a full length animated movie RATHER than one featuring actual people, like this for instance. Now THIS is how a zelda movie SHOULD be baby!!!

What's killing me is the comments.

A few prime examples:

Now for something completely different:

"This movie sucks balls. Saria can't be Link's "mother". That is wrong in so many ways. Plus the girl that played her was pretty much the exact same age as Link. I loved how that random Chinese dude just so happened to be a Goron. Also, I was expecting Harry's name to come out of the goblet but it was a creepy prostitute. D: I found myself rooting for Ganondorf there at the end. It seemed like the good thing to do since he was the only decent good actor and kicked butt with the sword. Why couldn't Link have had an epic sword like his instead of that gay thing with sticky jewels? I loved how his wig changed at the end too. Epic. Don't get me started on Zelda. Zelda is my homie. She's been my favorite character since I was in the first grade. So I'm not going to say a word. If it makes any difference, I enjoyed the music! I can tell that you people worked hard on the movie, but it just didn't work for me.

This movie is... painful. Oh so very painful. But I'll watch at least a little bit more just so that I can laugh til my gut bursts.

I had to stop it about 26 minutes in seeing that nothing was really keeping me pulled in. It for some reason just bugged me how the backgrounds were added in and not really right there on the spot.
