So I just got a hold of my copy of Animal Parade. I'm quickly reminded why delays might be inevitable for the Canadian release: French. To me it looks as though the Canadian box is lacking more screenshots or descriptions. In their place we get French text which seems to be significantly spaced out.
Because I was just excited to get the game and can't really play it yet, I took a picture :] (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v352/SafaiaRyuujin/IMAG0148.jpg) Would someone mind showing me what the proper back of the box looks like? I wonder what I'm missing. |

You're missing a sexy picture of Ignis, of course.

In the U.S., a lot of our game boxes have Spanish under the English. Like, it shows a picture, then a caption, and right under the caption is the Spanish translation. I think some might even have English, Spanish, AND French. Though I don't entirely understand something; isn't the game in English? So why should the box have a different language on it, if it's only gonna play English? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) ;;

Often it's just the law. In Canada packaging is almost always required to be in both English and French. Games didn't have to have French packaging before, but it seems this might have changed recently.

Would anyone also mind telling me why this game is listed for 4 players? I looked in the manula and have seen nothing about minigames and whatnot...

Hmmm.... It might be like Welcome to the Wind Bazaar where you can invite other players (through friend code) to farm with you in your game...

No. They completely removed the wi-fi capabilities for the US version. But maybe they forgot to take the player number off the box?

I've realized a while ago that there are hidden minigames throughout the game, such as the racing you can practice at the ranch.
