Perhaps everyone thinks this is too much pressure (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . It doesn't have to be perfect. We just need some people to post some of their ideas and we could vote on it. But I do like Oscar's idea of having the option of changing our backgrounds.

It's not easy to make a skin. It's not easy AT ALL. You need to know the right dimensions, the proper color scheme to fit with the net, you have to lay it out somewhere in your head so it matches correctly, then you have to actually MAKE it, and lastly when you finally skin it into the forum it might not work. =/

I've made some forum skins before, but yeah it really is a lot of work to start from scratch. There are a lot of random pieces. I think my favorite that I made was a tan/light brown scheme with orange and purple accents. Very autumn-like without being too dark.
I think a new skin would be a refreshing change, though. Will it have a pixel-art style, too...? It's always hard trying to figure out what to put in the design. Maybe have a large variety of HM characters cameo in the "new post" "new topic" kind of icons, or even customized post icons (the ones with little faces.. those ones). I'm not all too great with coming up with ideas, though. |

I've made a few in my time- its easier if you have a clear direction- but otherwise its pretty much hit and miss.

Yeah it's really difficult, so why dont we do some changes in this one insted of changing it completely?
I think it would be good and easy to do it, if we just changed the head pic and the background pic Neat, nice and new ~ |

I like the idea of a new layout. I'm not capable of making one . . . but change is always nice!
Plus, there's this one cloud in the background of this layout that looks like an Abra and it drives me crazy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

I can see a tree, a sheep and an elephant. XDXD |

Huh. An Abra? I haven't seen that one, but I do spy an Aipom in there somewhere. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Again, I really like this place the way it is, so... be gentle when/if you redesign. |

The cloud I'm talking about is half-behind the forum. You can really only see the shape right before everything loads up.

Sir, I believe you may be the foolish for not understanding how cloud observing works. There are many strange and wonderous things in these puffy white shapes.

Let's see, I see a fishy, and a guitar, and for a second there, I thought I saw Mario. Ya know, when he's doing his pixel-y jump?
(IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3210/2946495773_4f770bae1d.jpg) I took the liberty of circling the ones I see. 8D |

For the record, the one Zen thinks looks like Mario is the one I think looks like an Abra. 8D
