IdlersDream: I'm a really weird person that way.

Part of it is that I can't stand to passively watch something. I have to be involved somehow, or, at least, I have to keep my hands busy. I'm strange that way. If I want to be lost in a fantasy world, I'll read a book or play a video game. I just can't stand being passive by watching a film. When I watch a film, I *have* to be doing something else (usually, knitting or crocheting), otherwise it just drives me crazy.

I also can't stand seeing people do something that I think is stupid. And I actually like having he outcome of a movie spoiled for me before I see it. I like to know what's going to happen. I don't like surprises.

...Aren't I crazy? ^^;;;;;;;;;

Seriously. The only reason I don't watch them is because I have to sit there. I can fall asleep sometimes.
And I'm always asking people that have seen the movie what happens. 0_o;

Though, there must be something generally appealing about it, since blood and gore have been a staple of entertainment for thousands of years.

I haven't seen Futurama since Adult Swim stopped showing it a couple of years ago. I know it's on Comedy Central sometimes, but I'm too lazy to check and see when it's on.

I miss that show. ;.; It's one of the few I liked.

I think it's strange how that show really liked to poke fun at Nixon, while, in his lifetime, he wasn't really that...comical. Though he could be pretty comfortable on TV. Legend has it that in an early TV interview, he came across better than John Kennedy did.

But that was one thing I LOVED about Futurama: they way it poked fun at our recent history. I loved Richard Nixon in that show (or, at least, his head).

My sister and I used to watch every episode when Adult Swim aired it, then we bought all the DVDs and movies.

You gain points for having liked the show.

I'm sure he was a good president. But it's Futurama's style to poke fun at everything that ever happened, ever.

Because nobody can be president more than two times!

...I have no idea why I haven't bought the show on DVD yet, actually. I guess because I'm a bargain shopper and will buy boxed DVD sets only when they're on sale? Hmm... I should check to see if I can find Futurama on sale somewhere around here...

Too bad for the real Nixon, scientists haven't yet found a way to preserve heads alive. They'd better come up with that kind of technology within the next 1000 years!

Oi, I'm probably one of the relatively few people here who remembers when the real Nixon died. I was ten years old, and watched his funeral on TV. My dad was fairly upset about his death. We weren't allowed to talk about it at school for some reason.

Sometimes this place makes me feel like an old lady. Honestly. It's amazing how quickly the generation gap overtakes you.

Gosh, I crochet...lots of different things. xx; Well, lately, I'm mostly doing small stuff. Flowers. Motifs. Small shawls. Practicing random stitches. That kind of stuff.

It is really amazing what one can do with a long piece of yarn and a few tools.

Age has nothing to do with it, considering you skipped over me referencing a song from 1975 and I don't really pay attention to modern pop culture anyway. Just cutting off movies and television leaves you with so little to work with, you know?

...Wow. I do hyperbolic crochet all the time (on a small scale), and didn't know it. XD You can make flowers with REALLY cool 3D petals that way. Eh, I should make some in bright colours and photograph them to show everyone here~.

Yeah, pop culture has never really appealed to me. I'd rather just concentrate on what I like and not give a darn about what's popular with others. If my likes and the popular likes happen to mesh, it's completely a fluke. ^^

Oscar: Yes, my little Char...whatever has grown on me. Charmeleon? It's been YEARS since I last touched a Pokémon game...

Actually, I forgot all about him. Heh.

Darth: I haven't gotten around to Thracia 776 yet, but I have played Seisen a little. I've heard so many people talk about how easy that game is, but I totally stink at it. XP I think that one does really take a lot of practice! Since I managed to kill off so many characters in the first generation before they had gotten into a relationship with someone, I figured I'd better restart, otherwise the second generation would be COMPLETELY screwed...

That said, any recommendations for good couples?

Anyway. Mine were Lachesis + Fin, Aira + Holyn, Fury + Levin, Tiltyu + Lex, Sylvia + Azel, Aideen + Midir, Brigid + Jamka which all did pretty well. Mostly because they were pretty easy to do and had pretty good units for the second generation. I really wish I got Claude with someone though. Would've been a lot simpler to do things in the second half, though I guess some challenge would be gone. Apparently Sylvia's good for that, which considering how many times I remember Azel dying it may be just as well. If I wasn't so defiant against characters dying it probably would've worked out.

Now I need to think of a question... uh... what prefix would you put in front of "mancer" that'd be best to you?
