So I was flipping through a few of Nurse Fin's videos on YouTube and I cam across this comment on the Dakota video of when she is grown up. ^_^
I want to rip Dakota's head puffs offfffffff She'd be so much cuter with regular pigtails instead of cheese ball ones. This also just made my day! |

Not as exciting as the rest of you since I'm only in Spring, but I still feel pretty accomplished. I have 45 crops growing now, 17 people with at least one heart, and have been focusing on fishing. As soon as my corn grows I'll be able to get the next bell, and then start working on all the wishes. I'm also trying to save Eunice the Giraffe, which is helping my fishing rod experience. Yay.

Still working on the Purple Bell, but with my "rushed" file this time... I made a list of the easiest people for the season I'm in, and, honestly, there's only 4 people that couldn't be done as easily in any other season. I only have Hamilton at 2 hearts (only doing him because of his 2 hearts) and Candace at 1. The others have no hearts yet. Hopefully most of the others will get one tomorrow (game time). I'm wanting to do a New Game+, as I've never done one before, unfortunately. I've just never felt like it.
EDIT: Well, some people went up a heart today (before I went to the next day I was talking about). I'm pleasantly surprised. This post has been edited by Equus: Nov 29 2009, 12:03 AM |

Which festival do you mean? And, it's probably not worthwhile if my corn is already growing.

hi
I just got this game a few days ago and I have ToT, Magical Melody, and Wonderful Life. I love the Harvest Moon games and this one is really cool im in summer and I just upgraded Marimba Farm and im growing corn I have Chase at three hearts(didnt kno about rubbing) I really don't understand how you guys upgraded your houses so fast I have the money but its taking me forever to get lumber, I can go to Fogue Forest cut down and cut a few stumps but then Im out of energy please give me tips on how to upgrade my house faster (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) |

It's better to cut the trees themselves. The stumps really aren't worth the effort. Trees take 24 hits with a non-upgraded Axe, where one stump takes 8. So 3 stumps=1 tree. Stumps only give you one piece of lumber, and at best, trees can give you 8 without cutting up the stump. (So long as you get away from the lumber range when the tree falls, you have a chance of getting 8 pieces.)

No problem, and, the Purple Bell isn't necessarily hard, (in my opinion) it's just something that may take most of your time. If you're working on it with people that have 0 hearts for you, it will take at least 15 days of loved presents, rubbing, and talking to get them to 3 hearts and to get their wishes. There are 4 (please correct me if there are more. Going off the guidebook.) people that love Herbal Tea, which is easy to make, so that helps. Then there are a few people who love things you can just forage for, so, in my opinion, it's not exactly hard, just time-consuming.

You have to get your spouse to their respective heart level*, and they will ask you the next day, so long as you have a level 3 house.
*(15 for Witch/Wizard, and 16 for King/Goddess, and 14 for all others) |
