I had an awkard moment with Luna earlier... She wanted advice on whether to tell Gill she loves him, but since I'm planning on marrying him I told her it's not a good idea. And then she got mad, and said she is WAY cuter than I am, and that he will choose the better person. I thought it was fun cause that same day Gill confessed his love to me. Good times.

Now I'm wondering whether to have a younger daughter or a younger son... Which one is cuter with Gill's looks?

I'm very paranoid right now because I had a ton of people at two hearts (a moajority of them bachelorettes) but as soon as Candace confessed her love to me, they all drop a heart level. -_-

I want to finish the purple bell. On the birght side though, it is almost the end of Summer, and I'm pretty sure I've sold over 100,000G of crops, hopefully making me reach Hero status. Then as soon as I finish the purple bell I should be all set. :D

Wow. Everybody here is so...game face. I'm on like Summer 6, my husband-to-be does not have a single heart for me, and I spend my days frolicking around Flute Fields and dying in the mines. It's pretty pitiful, but amusing. I have 16 people who have 1 heart for me; I created a system. And I haven't upgraded the Farm yet, but I bought Summer Seed Mix bags, and I have ONE corn. I am praying every single moment that it turns out to be good or better. I want to finish the stupid Witch "quest"! Luckily this week (well, Mon., Tues., and Wed.) we have half-days for school. Which means I can spend about 6 hours playing until my parents get home and then kick me off in favor of doing completely fruitless things like hw. Who needs APUSH, anyways?

Also, what do you all think I should name the Collie? He/she is at 5 hearts. I was going to just name it Macy, but I'm not really to positive iwth that name anymore. Any ideas?

I finally got my first person to two hearts! It was Jin! Owen and the Witch should have two hearts very soon and Julius, Toby, and Gill should be getting their first heart soon.

Going into this game, this was Harvest Moon's last chance. I went into the game thinking, "Why do I care for this series anymore? The last few games haven't been good." I'm happy to say, I'm mightly impressed with the backbone and customization. It incorporated a lot of MM styles and it sort of has the 64 feel to it. This could be the best game, should I play it for a couple years.

My thoughts are right on with Toaster's. I honestly didn't have high hopes for this game. I was beginning to consider myself an old school Harvest Moon gamer who became fed up with the series. I had next to no idea what this game was like going in -- which probably was for the best -- other than that it was an expansion upon Tree of Tranquility which I played less than a week of and didn't seem to enjoy. I am just in awe with this game. I keep trying to put it up in the ranks of Harvest Moon 64 and Magical Melody, but I'm still afraid to do so because those games are just epic. But I definitely think this is one of the best games in the series. I definitely look forward to playing multiple years in this title. It is stunning, beautiful, and there is oh so much to do. I feel Marvelous has now mastered what the Harvest Moon series has become.

This game has a feeling I can't really describe. Saffy said it was heart. But in any case, ToT didn't have that for me at all. I played to Summer and got extremely bored of it. Haven't touched it since. But with this game, I could see myself playing for a couple years. Possibly creating multiple files.

For the moment, I finished the red bell and I'm working on the yellow on the 10th.

When you get your first animal to ten hearts and recieve the power berry, if they haven't already eaten that day then you must send them outside and hand feed them or they won't eat at all that day!

Mmhm. Didn't I say so? >> I could never find out how to say why or how AP was so much better than ToT (and almost every other HM game I've played, though HM64 still reigns supreme at this point), other than that... it just is. It's got a few new features, sure, and it certainly runs more smoothly than ToT (at least, the Japanese version did...), but that doesn't quite account for how much more amazing it is. In fact it's so much fun that I played well into both of my children's lives (usually I can hardly get to the growth of the child before I get bored and start over) without even caring that I didn't know everything that everyone was saying.

My American copy should ship on the 24th, but that's right before Thanksgiving and it's probably going to be delayed... phooey, I wanted it in time to waste my entire break playing it.

I've had 2 random "glitches" one was when I was in the mines, I was going up a level and then the loading screen froze and made this freaky noise, I had to unplug my wii to turn it off >< but that has only happened once, so I think it's random. The other was when I was walking through Fugue Forest, when I changed screens everything went black, but I could still run around, it was like I was running in nothingness. I had to reset my game to fix it :/ that has also only happened once, so I think it's also random.
