Ok, the spouse have a fav animal, so if u have that animal, does the heart lvl raise?

I'm pretty sure a raise in heart level does not occur if you buy that animal. For example, if you buy a horse, Kathy won't recieve a giant heart raise.

I'm not quite sure how the favorite animal thing works. Were I to take a guess at it, I'd say that talking to a particular bachelor/ette while walking with or holding their favorite animal might give you a little boost. I highly doubt it's anything significant though, if it's even true. That feature may have been included just to give the characters more personality. I highly, highly doubt simply owning the animal will give you a boost - that would make for some difficult gameplay mechanics.

Kathy's fav animal is the great pyrenees. And buy animal, I mean pet.

I married Vivi and have the black cat, and nothing particularly noticeable has happened...
Maybe it did while I had my back turned, but really, I couldn't tell.
