Tip: If you haven't already, watching a video of the guy getting 1:43.somethin' on Moonview Highway is actually pretty helpful in telling you how to do better on the course. He does some stuff I'd never thought to do before, so later I'll probably work some more on seeing if I can mimic some of what he does. Note: He uses Funky Kong on the Torpedo Bike on Automatic. Go go automatic!

Yeah, I saw that earlier. But I don't have Funky Kong, because unlike the rest of you, I'm bad enough to where I don't quite yet have all gold in the grand prix things, ergo, I haven't got mirror mode, ergo, nothing cool. Which sucks, because I want Baby Luigi!! ;~; And that cool looking girl. I dunno her name.

My gosh I SUCK after not playing so long, Moon View Highway is NOT my course, I'm losing to the worst time by 11 seconds still, and I watched a video of this crazy good driver getting a 1:48 on it (ill put the link below) and man I still can't believe it.

Rosalina supposedly takes forever to unlock if you don't have a Super Mario Galaxy save file. If you have it, you just have to win like 50 races or something. I'm not sure what you have to do if you don't have it, but I'd think it's easier to either rent/buy the game (since it is pretty fun on it's own) or borrow it from a friend.

Anyway most of the characters you unlock just by beating a single Grand Prix. For Daisy, you just have to beat the 150cc Special Cup. For Miis, beat the 100cc Special Cup.

Just got my Moonview Highway score down to 1:56.077. With Rosalina on the Flame Runner. WHAT NOOOOOW.

Yeah, SMG is pretty fun. I definitely fell in love with Rosalina as soon as she came on screen--no homo. <3

I haven't gotten around to beating all the 150cc cups yet, but maybe someday. 8]

Looks like I'll have to go tackle Katie's score D: I definitely love the competition though. It's really amazing trimming down those seconds. You have to find new corners to cut and possible route changes. Such fun. And Moonview Highway adds in a fair bit of difficulty too while still giving you a number of opportunities. I definitely see room for improvement with my time trial. I might be able to shave off two seconds or so.

I was really surprised when I finished the race and saw my score; I didn't think it was THAT good. In fact, I was swerving away from cars a lot, barely popped wheelies, and hit the wall once. So there's definitely room to improve, I'm just time-trialed out for the day. 8D
