Gold means you have ALWAYS used your wheel, white does not!

Golden wheels are for people who have used the wheel a lot. White just means they're using it but haven't used it a lot.

Oscar, you don't need to have always used your wheel. You just need to have used it a lot. You can get it even if you mostly play with the Gamecube controller.

I was looking into lightweights for time trials where the expert ghost used them. Sometimes it seems as though I can't shave off those extra seconds with the Mach Bike.

Well you'll do good, but heavyweights will always win in time trials because of their higher top speeds. If you look at any world record, you'll see that all the racers use Funky Kong.

Lawl, Oscar, I saw you like zooming off course in the wiggler part last lap. I was like, Dude, where is he going? XD;

Charmy has introduced me to a new shortcut on that track, too. :0
Plus her shell throw-back skills are applaudable--and I thought I was pretty good.
