There's just such a different mindset you have. In time trials you pretty much memorize everything. In a normal race you have to make it up as you go and plan ahead. Not that you don't do that in time trials, but the races do become very predictable.
Sure, I'll join you. I'm not sure if my game with Katie just got disconnected or not... |

Yeah, for some reason my Wi-Fi is being a rebel or something.
And dear god, those effing bomb cars and the lightning bolt items are KILLING me. I SUCK with those. Plus one on one races are def not my strong suit since I like having other racers beat people up with items, too. 8D |

Saffy: Yeah, that's true. I could tell when I was going slower than normal by judging where the cars were at certain points. |

I like one-on-one. You get the competitive spirit along with items, but you're not being tortured by everything that can possibly be thrown at you.
It was really weird when I'd start getting ahead of my old time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) It'd be a completely new territory. Let's all join after Katie and I play. |

But that lightning thing reminded me of earlier when Oscar and I were playing a worldwide one. I was in the lead, and I accidently got the stupid one that basically was a backfire, right? I was like, "Aw, crud muckets," because there was no one around to dump it on, because I was in the lead. Then I spot a dude playing Mario not too far behind me on the map, and slam on my breaks. We were playing at the N64 Sherbert Land or whatever it's called, and I was at the little entrance thing to the cave, so they couldn't get around me.
