Day 36
Today we will be talking about a new and important tool today. This tool is very special considering it has a huge part in the game. This new tool is the Animal Whistle! I like to think of the whistle as a charm. After recieving it from Dale, you are able to charm any of the animals on the island. With the whistle you can train pets to do tricks. Each pet can learn up to 4 tricks? (Marie or anyone if you could help me out her.) Your pet can then show the tricks it knows best at the Animal Festival! |

That sounds like fun. Almost like the flute in StH. :P I remember my brother could play random actual songs on that.

They can learn four tricks; the fourth trick is "max" level (In English... really.) so I'm pretty sure that's it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) My kitty knows all of its tricks. :D It's so cute~
I wish I had a capture device of some sort, so I could contribute screenshots. ;-; Shame, shame, I don't. Ah, yes, the Animal Whistle. It also activates the Animal Taxi (er... have you gotten to that in the facts yet, ZBoy?), which I got fairly recently. Most. Useful. Thing. EVER. Though I pick up considerably fewer wild items now... I'm sure I've got enough. |

Yeah, I plan on talking about the taxi system in a future fact.
Thank you for clarifying thhe fact about the amount of tricks! It's helpful having people with the game already to help me learn about these facts. :) |

Day 35
Now after learning about both the circus and the animal whistle, today we're gonna talk about the AmAzInG animal taxi service. After meeting Theodore for the first time, he'll explain that three of his animals (elephant, hippo, giraffe) have gone missing. Using the animal's favorite food, you'll explore Castanet looking for the animals. If you find the animal, give it its favorite food that you were told it likes be Theodore, and the animal should then trolly on back to the church plaza where the circus is located. Now after you find a certain animal and return it to Theodore, you unlock the animals special taxi service. There are 4 taxi services that will take you to different locations of Castanet. The first three you unlock by finding the animal, and the fourth is unlocked by finding all three of the hidden animals. The taxi service is an easy way to get to a location quickly, which is very useful for how big the town is in this game! For example: If you blow on the whistle and summon the giraffe, your protagonist will hop on the back of the giraffe and it will take you to the main town in a blink. |

I'm getting more and more excited for this game with every fact, Zboy! That sounds like a reeeally good idea for these games because sometimes you can't find enough time in the day to do all you want to do. But as Marley said, I'm sure it cuts down on everything you would usually pick up.
I guess it's sort of like the teleport stone from HMDS Gaaah! I had a question but as I went to type it I forgot it. :( |

Actually, you have to get all of the animals returned to the Circus before you unlock the Taxi service. D: Annoying, because you can get the first two in Spring, but the last one requires a Bell Pepper for its recipe, which you can only get in Fall. Stupid hippo. D<
Also, fun fact: all of the Animal Taxi recipes are oven recipes. |

The pig takes you home.
Actually, technically, you take the pig home. You give it a piggyback (...no pun intended) ride and you magically end up at home. o_o I don't get it. And no matter how quickly you get the oven, unless you've got cool Wifi friends, you can't get the Animal Taxi service before Fall 22. Even if you did have all the items, though, it would be a stretch to get it on the first circus night, seeing as how you only have five hours to do it and it's impossible to have a working horse (or any rideable animal, for that matter) before Spring 22 of the first year. Without a horse, it's pretty much impossible to do it all in one night, as you have to return each animal to the circus before you can start looking for the next, and getting from Harmonica Town to Kaval Meadow is no quick task. |

I can see the animal taxi being useful in the beginning of the game (when you need all the time you can get to do stuff in a day) but as the days go on, and because the passage of time is quite slow in this game, wouldn't you run out of things to do because you can just teleport anywhere (taking away the time it takes to walk to places), and end up going to bed at like, midday or something? *lets breath out* (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif)

Well yeah, that's what ends up happening in HMDS with the teleport stone. You end up getting everything done by noon and then it gets boring haha. I guess there's no inbetween.

Day 34
Good afternoon everyone and sorry for the delay today. Mornings are crazy sometimes! :P So for today's fact, we'll be "exploring" another section of the world in game just like I did with your farm. Today we'll be exploring the Kaval Meadow. The Kaval Meadow is the main area for buying things basicly for your farm such as animals and seeds. There is the seed farm where Anissa and her family live. Here you can buy seeds and other grown products. The ranch is where Renee and her family live. Here you can buy animals and other tools to take care of them. As a matter of fact, the first time you walk into the barn at the ranch, you'll be given a free calf, color of choice! There is also the water wheel and the wind mill which can be used turn crops into other products. Julius's and Chase's houses can be found here. The other area connected to the meadow, is the Tam Tam Forest, where the witch can be found. |

You can only buy the default coloured animals at Horn Ranch (black and white cows, white sheep, grey horses and white goats), but to get the other coloured animals, you have to first sprinkle a miracle potion on the animals to impregnate them. The baby will then be a random coloured animal, so if it's not the one you want, just load up the game from the day before and try again :P
Don't bother with the ostriches though, they only have one colour (black). |

Your first calf, though, you can pick. My Moo-chan is brown this time~
Two of the bells are also in Kaval Meadow. Each of the other areas (save for your own ranch) only has one. |
