Have you even just woke up one day and noticed you had a bruise or a cut and you didn't have a single idea as to where it came from? Like today I got out of the shower and my foot had a big cut on it and I was like "what the fudge where did that come from?!" and then I told my mom and she said I probably got it from shaving but hello I don't shave my foot -_-

So. Discuss!

Yeah, it happens occasionally though I can't think of a recent example. I figure it happens during sleep.

Mine probably happen during sleep. Or maybe football, but I never get hit at the knees which is where the bruises are.

I used to get a lot of bruises when I played hockey but those I knew how I got; now they just randomly appear.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. When it's bruises, it's usually a slow developing reaction to when you bump your leg/arm into your bed frame or desk or whatever while walking. It generally seems like you didn't hit anything hard enough for it to bruise (and oftentimes you don't even remember hitting anything because it didn't feel like you did) but it does anyway. As for cuts... I get those too occasionally. For me, it's usually something on the floor that was sharp enough to cut, but cut in a place I couldn't feel... and one time it was because my heels were so dry that the skin actually cracked open like a piece of fruit. It's weird, but there's always an explanation.

I think sometimes you have adrenaline kicking in and you don't notice the light cuts or bumps.

Someone try to come up with a reason for this:

I found a long cut across my ribcage, it's healing but I didn't even feel it. Or know it was there! I do have a lab pup who likes to jump all over me but that's all I can think of....

I get a lot of bruises on my legs, which mostly occur from me hitting the wall in my sleep. A full bed and for some reason I still scrunch up against the wall. -_-;

I blame the angry demonic spirits and entities that inhabit my home and haunt me day and night, carving their invisible, flaming claws into my flesh when I least expect it.

… :0

But seriously, yeah, happens all the time with my fingers, but usually those are basic paper cuts I don't notice until they start to sting. I also get a lot of random bruises on my elbows, wrists, and neck from Theatre (or assuming so from some of the things we do in there).

Once I woke up with blood on my lip. O_O

But I often have scabs all over my legs or little cuts. I don't remember anything serious as of now..... Apart from my first paper cut! I just randomly noticed I had a scar on my finger and I'm thinking: "I was using paper.... Yay! I got my first paper cut at the age of thirteen!!!" Lawl. >.> That's messed up.

For the past like 2 weeks, I've had a GIANT bruise on my right up arm. It was so far when you touched it. I have no clue whatsoever where it came from...

I always have random bruises on my legs. I don't know where the heck they come from. =/

I also got a cut on my foot once. I don't know how I cut the top of my foot, apparently I just did.

I knew it! So it isn't just my cat who opens my bedroom door when I'm trying to sleep!

I've probably been kicking myself or something. I don't go anywhere to bang into other stuff.

owowowow.

I have the ugliest bruises on my knees from theatre all of a sudden. A lot of the show involves the Chorus bowing very quickly, so I assume that's where they came from, but ow. They just appeared like yesterday. D8
