 Uk Release!?!?, whats with the uk release? |

Hello,
just starting this topic becuase harvest moon Tree of peace was said to be released on the 27 of June this year (Europe) , which was yesterday! But I cant find it in any of the game shops, or online! does anyone have any information about this? Any help greatly appriciated! alice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) |

I doubt that the UK would get TOT before the US. >>
But I'm pretty sure that you won't get it until a few months after August 26. :0 Not sure, though. :/ EDIT: Actully, I see few websites saying it is June 27. D: *confused* |

Well, if it did come out yesterday, then maybe you're looking in the wrong game stores. :P
Or maybe they haven't put it on the shelves yet. Ask the store clerk if they have it and maybe they'll have it in a box or something. >> |

I don't think that's true... but I've seen it on a few websites too I think... But from what I've heard, anybody can put anything on wikipedia, so that could be lie or something. Hmmmmm...

Yeah, I've read that the UK was supposed to get the game on June 27th on a lot of websites, but I kind of doubt that's true... Rising Star just finished Rune Factory and Magical Melody not too long ago, and they don't have Tree of Tranquility on their website. And no HM game has been released in Europe before North America... >_>

Hmm I remember waiting since last year for a HM game on the wii.. Then comes along MM on the wii, but they cut the girl section from it. (Heard the US MM on GC had both girl and boy..) The MM on the wii was a rush anyway even as a port...
Play.com have Harvest moon -TOT for release date : 26/09/2008 (http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/6060934/Harvest-Moon-Tree-Of-Tranquility/Product.html ) If were lucky might see it before xmas, but wouldnt be shocked if it gets released in Jan 09 or later. lol The release dates of HM-TOT (wiki and ign) were just to early guessed... |

Sorry to burst your bubble, but when has the UK got any games before the US? It was quite obviously a mistake - at one point, some sites claimed it was being released in the UK before Japan!
It's a sad fact that the UK is quite behind Amerca with games. It's most likely that it'll be released in January/March 09. For it to be this time of year and still have 'TBA' I doubt we'll see it for christmas. I suggest you get the Freeloader software for the Wii and get the game from an Import store when it's released in the US; be sure to pre-order the copy in-store though, I heard there was a large demand for it. This would be a better idea anyway, as it gives them no time to cut things out or shorten the game like they did with Magical Melody (they cut out the whole girl part of the game and a few items, which sucked -_- I wouldn't put it past them to do it again) |

^ How did you know my about my master plan D: [/joke] no seriously I got tired with getting games 4 years later that all other places so I got freeloader. And I have ToT preordered too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)
RSG sucks big time. They keep releasing weird games nobody wants anyway and push others back. I'd say it is a miracle if Europe gets ToT by 2011... And I am DEAD SERIOUS about that. Too bad for 'em, they have lost me as being customer and I'm even encouraging other finns to get US version too instead. (and helping them with ordering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ) Though this time when I asked they said they'd leave girl character in it too. Good to see they have developed brain. |
