Last night while I was practicing, I went online to face some random people to see some more strategies first hand, and in free-for-all, I was teamed by all 3 other players. They didn't bother attacking each other. Two would camp and make sure I didn't get away while the other chased me around. I assume they knew each other and enjoyed the prowling of players at night when not many were on.

Fighting random people online almost always sucks. You get 1 of 3 kinds of players: people who are idling; people who just want to taunt or kill themselves the whole time for some reason; and people who play Pikachu and only use the down+B.

Sometimes you actually get people interested in fighting, haha. The random team battles aren't bad either, unless your teammate is just plain useless.

I remember dinking around with random at a friend's house the first week it came out. It was surprisingly great, and I even ended up with a group of players who aaaaall played Ness and Lucas. That was awesome.

Before I tested my connection with Lindstrom, I tried it with a random team battle. My team mate stood there the whole time, doing nothing.
