Have any of you guys seen this movie? I thought it seemed kinda silly at first, I thought the name was weird. But it turned out to be a very well made movie. I admire the work they put into it. It's now one of my top ten favorite movies.

It was quite good, but it deserved maybe a little less media attention than it was due in my opinion, which got slightly annoying. Besides; there were a lot of good films coming out around that time, and I didn't get to see them because my local cinema had cancelled virtually everything except Twilight and Slumdog Millionaire.
I agree that the film was very well made, though. Great acting on the behalf of the main characters, and the guy who presented Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. They timed the flashbacks very well, although they perhaps left too much space inbetween and with too little explanation. Overall a good film, and I recommend watching it if you haven't seen it. |

You think it got too much media attention? I wouldn't have heard of it, if my teacher wouldn't have mentioned it.

In Britain, it was talked about non-stop on television, on the radio, and in the newspapers. They even had featurettes on the lives of the indian actors and how they weren't getting enough money or attention and stuff like that.

Oh it's interesting how here in the US, it was hardly advertised.
