Rune Factory: Frontier! Q&A?, Questions that REALLY need to be ANSWERED. ;3 Options

Bonjour, I'm Fufu. I just rented Rune Factory Frontier, and I'm... confused. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I've played Harvest Moon since the first version came out. ( The Gamecube one of course... Nintendo, ftw. ;3)
But I can't figure things out. The came just came out a few days ago, and to my dismay, NO WALKTHROUGHS! (I'm a horrible cheater, I know. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) )

So, I hace a few questions, and I bet a whole lotta other people do too!

I'm past Spring 7, I can't find Kanno! Where is he? What am I missing...

...This is dumb, but what do I need to create a Rice Ball? I'm like, dead-set on marrying Selphie or Cinnamon. (Drop.) And Selphie likes rice balls...

Any tips on capturing monsters?

Heart events/ bath events / constellation event. What are they? I know what a Heart Event is but...?
How do I trigger them, on Rune Factory, I mean.

Kanno will be in the Clock Tower.

You have to buy a Kitchen from Lute, and the recipe book from Selphy (or aquire one from Rita, I don't remember which one it is in.)

You need the pet brush from Kross.

I don't know about the last one.

okay with the Kanno part, wait three days after spring 7th and go to the clock tower. go upstairs and into the first room. Keep talking to him and he will say something about his granddaughters

second with taming monsters start small in like the dungeons outside of mist's house ( you have to cut down the weeds with a sichle that Erik gives you ) like maybe a chitter but you have to buy a barn from Kross and he will give you a pet glove

with the rice ball you have to buy a kitchen from Lute ( he is in the square on Holidays at 9 am )
and you have to find rice in a dungeon ( they are in the treasure chests like on whale island )

the only thing I don't know about it the heart events I'm kind of confused about that to.... so I can't help you with that sorry.

Because on my game, it's like Spring 23... and I haven't caught him anywhere...

You shouldnt have rented it. Open ended games like Rune Factory tend to keep you playing for a LONG time.

The problem, my father, he's real paranoid. He says I have to rent games first before I buy them-- to make sure I like them, and not waste his money.
