So, I was looking on Youtube for any new videos of Harvest Moon, and I happened to stumble across this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkmrTy2UoOY The person said they didn't know how they'd triggered it, and when I tried checking it out on Yahoo!Answers, the one question that may've answered it was deleted. Anyone know anything about that? |

Anyone know anything about that? Yah its happened to me twice, I think what triggers it is when you make ur child do too many chores, everyday for a while id have my son water the crops (child forced labor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) after about 5-10 days hed get sick, I didnt know what was going on either but it kept happening, so I didnt make him work as much and he hasn't gotten sick again since... |

Ahhhhhh! Ok! So it's a little bit like when you overwork yourself and get sick. You overwork your child, and s/he gets sick. Cool. Thanks!

I've been researching that too. I heard it happens a season after your kid's first birthday, and again sometime later (one is a cold, and the other is the flu). I also heard it happens if you don't talk to your kid for like ten days. I wanna know how it's done so I can see all the different scenes with different spouses . . .

I'll probably end up doing it anyway, either by forgetting the instructions, or my curiousity got the better of me. :D Anyway, I dunno, because the person who got it to happen randomly, the kid was fully grown.

I know, I saw that video. I meant, a season after your kid's full grown. So . . . a year and a season after it's born. But hey, I dunno . . . I've never triggered it myself. I'm bound and determined to trigger it though. I'm sure I'll figure out eventually. I shall make myself a little list of theories . . . and try everything.

I usually plant about ten rows of crops, I wonder if that's enough? Say, if that is the way it works, I wonder if you can make your spouse sick in EAM . . . er, I mean AP. I felt so horrible leaving my child all alone all the time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) |

I felt so horrible leaving my child all alone all the time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) Yeah, I heard about that. I'll either not save while I'm attempting it or make sure I put feed out for the animals the night before. I figure the crops would be okay if I skip a single day of watering. But hey, my kid's just crawling so I got a while to go. I'm not playing that file a lot right now anyway, since I'm working on a scrap file to see what people say in different circumstances. I hope to get back to my main file in a week or two though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) Renee's good about coming home. She's back in time for dinner! Sure, the kid's home alone all day . . . but whatever. At least the kid doesn't wonder around everywhere like in AWL. |

I know. At least in ToT you can keep track of your child if you need to find them for something. In AWL, you never knew where your child was! @-@

I'm be like, "Okay, I should take him to Vesta's farm to encourage his career!" Then end up hunting for most of the day just to find him wondering around the pasture, hiding in the grass. Stupid kid . . . I rather like ToT better, since I can have a boy or a girl and s/he grows up much faster. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) I wish there was a different kid for each spouse though . . . |

Yah they seriously need to think about how the kids grow up more seriously instead of haveing it just sit there for a month and then not being able to leave the house for another month, its pretty ridiculous I liked AWL style of the child growing up
