Picture: I want Max from Where The Wild Things Are the movie. But I want to avoid it looking weird at the same time? D: I think you get what I mean. I'd like some emphasis on the crown too.

Color Scheme: Gold, white, black? I envision it being darker with browns. Foresty?

Other: Though the signature will focus on Max from the movie, I don't want it to be weird at the same time. I'm not sure how you might go about this. I guess to me it just seems odd to have an 11-year-old boy as my set. Focus on the crown and scepter, quotes, and more the theme of the story if you can. I really like the wolf suit with the crown.

I'm very curious to see what you will come up with. It must be odd trying to make a set focusing around Max all the while trying not to focus on Max too much at the same time. But yes, I want Max to be very prominent in the set - just in case I was making it sound as though I wanted him to have less focus. I just don't want it to be too weird. So uh, good luck! I can give more details if you need help.

I'm basically pulling a few (like, four) really promising Max pictures with him and his crown, but really not any of the monsters. I assume the set may end up including at most three pictures by my assumptions, or at least clippings from them. But with a buttload of brushes and background additions, it won't, I assure you, be like, a Max-fangirl set. XD; That sounds like what you're fearing.

I got a few quotes from imdb as well, but I'll mostly be working on cropping and organization before text first, so I might do some tonight, some tomorrow in class, and then finish it at home. We'll see.

But it will be teh wins, I promise yoooou. :]

Yay, I think Katie gets what my intention is :D I don't want to be too much of a fanboy, but I do want a Max set. I surely believe Katie is the best one to create this set :]

And I think going with three images or so will work really well. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Tell me if you want any changes to it, especially the avatar (wasn't too sure about it, but there it is). I tried to duplicate that font, and it came out alright, I believe. The quote is from the movie, something Carol says, apparently. I hope you like it and that it doesn't fall under the fanboy category. x]

If possible I'd like the avatar to have more of Max's face with the wolf suit and crown. That's sort of how I envisioned it: similar to the picture you have in the signature.

But I have to say I'm really happy :D You made a set that highlights Max without focusing too much on him at the same time that it became weird. I'm not sure how you did it, but it really worked. I can't wait to use it :]

I had a lot of fun with this set. Especially with all those tree branch cut-outs. x]
I'm not quite sure how I did it, either--maybe it's the really subdued, dark brown colors?

Sweet, awesome! I think it should be easy to fix up considering how great you made the signature :D

I'm really impressed with the result. I can see you definitely put a lot of work into it, particularly with the branches and the effect. I like the quote as well, which I'd like to think fits me in some way (at least as an admin). I agree the branches and colours are probably what gives the proper intent. Katie is smart :]

Coincidentally, the more I look at the font the more I can see the resemblance with Men In Black.

This one a little better? Tried to incorporate some branches again with most of his head/crown/ears. :] And yarr, when I first read it to be the same font, I thought, "Wow, those two movies couldn't be any more different," and yet the font almost seems to fit both of them rather well. Silly movie people who choose fonts.
