In how many days would the world fall if a man like you had my knack for evil? It'd be like a plan for world domination that actually works.

If I wanted to take over the world, I'd do it in a way that you wouldn't even notice so people would keep working. Otherwise everything would be dystopic and boring. In short, I can't tell you cuz then you'd know too much about it.

Don't blame life, blame yourself or science. Or other people.

(he is some baaaaad toasta)

The scene: the dusty road that goes through Green Lake Town. Dustballs roll along the ground. The red sun beats down on your muscular shoulders. If it was any hotter, your not-exactly-ten-gallon hat would be aflame, like the middle finger of an angry volcanic god.
Texas Red stares you down from the other end of the street. That guy is one bad mexican. Just a youth of twenty four, but the notches on his pistol number one and nineteen more. It's time to make him pay for his crimes. Your fingers tighten on the two pistols at your side.
A drunk is kicked out of the saloon, falling laughing in the dirt and clutching a bottle of some unnamed alcoholic beverage. He looks from you to Texas Red, and notices your faces. He goes white and stumbles back inside.
You advance slowly down the street towards each other. The quartet inside the barber's shop stops singing and peers out the window.
You draw your pistol... he does the same. You walk steadily towards each other.
And then it hits you that your pistol feels a little too light, and you remember that you forgot to load your gun. Hot darn.

What next?

Not particularly.

I think he's just a little obsessive.

Traditionally you don't draw til you're going to shoot, but anyway if it were me, I'd just pull out my other gun. Either that or I'd throw my gun at just the right angle as to deflect his bullet, which would then hit a rope, unleashing a whole stack of barrels that would tumble down on Texas Red.

This is the West. You draw your gun before you shoot. Then there's an epic showdown, followed by the credits.

Texas Red tumbles to the floor, clutching his wounded side in agony. This is a bit odd, considering that he's just been hit by a load of barrels. Continuity has not yet been invented. But there's no time for contemplation - Mongo the butcher is coming at you with a cleaver. Do you run, or fight? Or do you shout, "CUT!" at the top of your voice?

In the old west, you'd be ready to draw, but wouldn't right away. The guns would be in their holsters til someone reached for it, and it was a matter of who could reach for their gun and shoot the other guy first. Traditionally it was the bad guys who drew first, cuz it's supposedly considered less dignified or something, and the good guys would be faster to draw and shoot cuz it's a movie, where good guys (almost) always win.

The answer is, and will always be, Candygram for Mongo.

Please watch Blazing Saddles, you're only embarrassing yourself.
