I'm going with the sad reflection. It's pretty lame how most people will file lawsuits over matters of hypersensitivity or lack of personal responsibility and win. Well, maybe the personal responsibility thing is mainly an American thing. Over in Europe, do people sue the coffee maker if they spill their own hot coffee on themselves, on the grounds that they "didn't know the hot coffee was hot"?

It has happened more than once, although mainly in England and partly in France. It's pretty sad. You don't know whether they just want the money or they feel somehow that it actually is someone else's fault. Personally I hate hypersensitivity because it shows complete lack of maturity and character, but some people go nuts over stuff like that.

In California there were a lot of laws I wasn't used to, like if you work for 3 hours you HAVE to take a break whether you need it or not, which sucks if your job is pretty boring and isn't always busy since you'll have lots of downtime anyway. They're super serious about those laws cuz pretty much a majority of those ridiculous lawsuits happen there.

Definitely Summer, I like the heat, the sun, being able to go swimming and all that, and all my friends are around. Around here we pretty much skip Fall and Spring due to being surrounded by water and being heavily influenced by ocean currents. As far as temperature goes, Summer just started because I woke up this morning and I was sweating despite having the window open and a fan on me.

Should there be a law that Mexican busboys should learn to speak some goddam English?

Considering busboys don't really have to interact with customers, I don't think it's a big deal. Everywhere I've worked that has had non-English speaking workers has had at least one who is bilingual.

Was Merlin really a thieving crackhead who fenced stolen VCR's to support his habit?

Pretty sure he was just a smart guy. I had an English teacher in high school who went crazy one day and thought he was Merlin, the class president was Arthur, and his girlfriend was Guinevere. The replacement English teacher was a pretty cool guy.

Will Wright is to video games what Jesus is to... other things.

What's the draw of an old game still sealed? Can't games be re-sealed? It's a nice draw, sure, but when it's so much more expensive, it just seems crazy.

I think it's a collector mindset. It hasn't been touched or tarnished or anything so it's just as good as the day it was made (in theory). I figure the idea is to make it last as long as possible, so by using it you'll deteriorate it over time. I could never do things that way though, it's a waste of money to me.

Are you still pissed off at Avril Lavigne for gently caressing with a perfectly good Metallica song?

Doesn't bother me cuz I don't care about either. I hate Kid Rock for trying to imitate Warren Zevon and Lynyrd Skynyrd though.

Kid Rock is pretty awesome, but only when he's doing that rap-metal thing. He should just leave country and everything else the heck alone.

I send all my emails, which are all usually work related or equally important. When it comes to talking to other people I use MySpace/Facebook/AIM/GoogleTalk/PMs from here.

Gangstas are lame. Around here they're just wanna-be city kids and in the cities they're just dumb. 1930's gangsters, however, they were cool. In style, anyway. I have a few friends who are into the thug thing a little but they know the limits. Being full on about it makes you look like a loser.

Usually between the dots.

So I assume you wanted to but everyone laughed at you when you tried going to L.A. to deal drugs, slipped on a used condom, got jacked, and threw away your jacket when you got angry hobo spittle on it, all within the airport?
