I sometimes check this thread expecting interesting questions.
To answer your question, no. |

Are you saying my questions aren't interesting?
And what is the worst thing to come out of Canada that you can think of? |

Depends what kind of mood I'm in. Presently I'm hungry and I didn't get enough sleep so I'm probably a little cranky or something.
I'm not sure what's bad out of Canada, except Niagra Falls as a major tourist attraction. Everything else is rather nice, I think. It's been a long time since I've last been and they don't really get much negative press, or at least none that I've heard. |

Sounds like you need to do some reading on a certain man called...Jack Layton.

I guess you're really sensitive? By comparison, you probably would be afraid of EarthBound.

Does Earthbound have anything similiar to Spongebob Squarepants?

It does have Fish Roe Man, but you don't go under the sea in EarthBound, just Mother 3.
(IMG:http://files.fobby.net/0000/42d8/Fish_Roe_Man.png) As far as trippy cosmic horrors... yeah the games have some of those mixed in there too. |

I've asked a few people about Frontier, and they all are pleased with it. So I'm going to ask for one more opinion, what do you think of it?

I'm really impressed, and I could probably do a whole big review without spoiling anything (I've purposely stayed away from the RF section of the forums to keep from ruining any surprises). I haven't played the other Rune Factories but there are a lot of simple features and aspects that make it by far greater than any other HM game including having a really huge inventory, seeing how much stamina/HP you have in a numeric form, showing EXACTLY what an item can and will do when you examine it, as well as how valuable it is. The crafting system, unlike previous HMs, is actually fun and rewarding (in a long term sense), the fighting isn't complex but it's not necessarily easy either, the one boss battle I've had has been very difficult and I've had to be prepared for it to win, and perhaps best of all, animals don't cost me money. Right now I'm stickin' with a cool elephant I named P-Nut that I ride around town. I don't even have to feed him and he still does great.
As for the girls, they're cool, though my only complaints is that sometimes their characterizations are a bit obsessive (Selphy at one point raving about books, ending by practically yelling "I LOVE BOOKS", I get it, you're the librarian). This isn't the rule, though, just more like an introductory thing that seems to be fading the further along I play. Also, a lot of the female characters almost sound like they're voiced by the same person which is kind of a disappointment (fortunately, Anette's voice is nostalgically reminiscent of Roll's in Megaman Legends). Maybe I'm being too critical in retrospect, you probably won't care but you might come across a line of dialogue here or there that just makes you sigh and hit the A button to skip. There are a lot of smaller details to all the characters (personality and voice acting wise) that pop up that I find very awesome. I'm at the end of spring and I still haven't met 6 of the townsfolk, 3 of which I know are eligible girls. Anyway, buy it when you get the chance. Before you ask: Selphy, for being the most outgoing, comedic, and best looking. |

The nonsensical questions get old after a while. Where else would you go? It's the attention to details and insight and all that.

My friend is all upset because he isn't good socially, I've been trying to tell him some tips, but they aren't getting through to him. Any suggestions?

I suppose best thing you can do is get people (specifically females) who are naturally comfortable and accepting around anyone who's a nice person to hang out with you and him and hope that loosens him up a little bit. This is assuming he's shy. Otherwise, nothing you say will be able to help. It's purely about him finding ease in being around others which goes well beyond pointers.
