Over the past couple of months, I have been saving up to buy a DS, as got really interested in Island of Happiness. (Yes, I've never gotten a DS. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jack_embarassed.gif) ) I've already bought Island of Happiness and the official guide. I wash dishes for the extra money, and my mom didn't want me to just give up, so she had me buy the game (as in I was out $30 if I didn't follow through).
Anyways, after looking into Tree of Tranquility, I've really become obsessed with that game (along with the upcoming Exciting Animal March)! Plus, I've always wanted to get a Wii over a DS. Here's my question: Is it worth the wait to keep saving my money up for a Wii and Tree of Tranquility, or should I just buy a DS and play Island of Happiness? Thanks for the help! PS-Basically, I'm asking which one's better, and if TOT is better, is it worth waiting for? |

Save up for the Wii.
IoH is fun and all, but ToT is a much better and deeper game. Plus Animal March is going to be awesome, and I think better than Shining Sun and Friends. |

Well I by far think the wii would be better because it has miis and wii sports and that doesn't come with the ds oh and I think tot has a better plot than ioh I have both and im more satisfied with tot.If you plan on wanting eam you should get the wii and tot that will help you understand it better. Hope I helped.

I would save up for a wii.
IoH got really boring for me after I got married on it. my Kid didn't even learn to crawl or anything. ToT kind of presents you with a 'challenge' It didn't get old as fast for me either. |

You should save up for a Wii. I got Island of Happiness a week after it was released and was dissapointed. I actually quit the game after an hour of playing it, it was that boring. Tree of Tranquility is just more interesting, more fun. It just seems more... realistic to me which makes it that much more addicting. I love how they designed the characters, and some of the male bachelors (Especially Chase and Luke <3) Practically everything about it I loved. That is what I recommend.

I say go for IoH. This is just opinion, but ToT was a big letdown for me. It just, didn't click right with me. I really don't know. Depends on your taste, but IoH took a bit to get used to and then it got addicting. I suggest reading up on both games and then decide which one you want.

The only thing I didn't like about ToT was the character art style.
For me IoH was long, boring, hard, and repetitive. Plus I hated the stylus system. |

Wii.
Bigger , better and funner. Unlike IoH , ToT has 48593 million things to do. Some events and some good gameplay. IoH is just to short. Plus side if you buy ToT , you can buy the sequel which I hear is allot better. But I can't chose for you. Think wisely ! |
