Well, I know on your birthday, when you're unmarried, you get taken to Herbal's house and you have a party with your closest friends. Mine were Vivi, Leena, Kapara, and Boan.

With a spouse, you have to wait for Nurse to answer that.

On a side note, Vivi just asked me if I wanted a kid. I let her choose and she wanted a girl. So I have a save just before she asks. I slept until she's born and she has silver hair. I'm going to reload it, sleep until she's grown up and see what hairstyle she has. Then reload and pick boy and girl and see the outcomes. Then do it one more time to see if hairstyles change.

Reading through the text again, when you let her choose she says "Definitely a girl!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I can't read what she says about a boy, sorry.

Well, I just went through 2 seasons to see my daughter grow up. She looks exactly like Nurse's first child, except my girl has silver hair. When I have more time, I'll reload and choose the girl option myself and see if that affects anything.

Does she have Vivi's eyes? Because if she does then its pretty safe to say that When the Spouse picks to have a girl child she will have the Spouse's color hair and eyes.

Maybe they don't have too much of a prefrence and you can reload? I saw a picture on Ushi somewhere and it showed Gil's daughter--with long hair.

I dunno if Nurse said anything about it, but the tools are different this time around. It took me a while to realize it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

When you use a tool more, it levels up, and the higher level it is, the less stamina it takes. When you upgrade it with the blacksmith, you can charge it up more.

So it's like Tree of Tranquility, but opposite.

No, I have school all day Monday and Wednesday. So yesterday was no go. Today I have to go to an art museum an hour away for my art class so today is pretty busy too. Maybe when I get home or tomorrow I can keep testing.

It's possible. All we need is someone to see what exactly happens. I'm hoping it's personality = appearance because I want my daughter with Gil to have pretty long hair...

I'm still going with my theory. I'm 80% sure that that girl is the first born (if you look at where it came from, it's the only picture of Gill's children besides Vivian).
Since you can have a calm-haired boy with Gill (seen in one of the previews), then I guess that some spouses don't actually have a preference for kids and so letting them choose becomes like the random choice in ToT.
It makes sense that Gill doesn't have a preference of the gender of his kid since he really likes kids in general.
