Also, Gail is a girl's name. Gale is a boy's name (or at least unisex). So.

I mean the strategy guide. I don't actually have it, but I've seen scans. It's supposedly Sephia, Vivi, and Gale, and I'm pretty sure Ignis is the same.

I used Hikari and Yuuki. When I play the American game, I'm probably going to use Takeru and Akari at some point. >> I'm not sure when, though... o__o;

Omg I had something like the Kappa thing happen on my game. Don't know if anyone else has seen it, but one day in the water tower on your farm there was a random duck just floating in it. I was mad that it was at an angle that I couldn't take a picture of it >.< . Anyone else see this?

Not at the water tower, but I saw a video of it floating over this peer or bridge looking thing.

I think Akari looks much more feminine. It's her eyes, the way they slant slightly. She looks prettier than Hikari, in my opinion. Just an opinion, though. In the Japanese version, my first girl file was Hikari, my second was Akari. In the English version I went with Akari first.

Is Akari's appearance improved in AP? Or does she look EXACTLY like she did in the previous game? I haven't seen a full in-game shot of her.

She looks pretty much exactly the same, except you start out in Hikari's clothes. ;)

I disagree! I think all of the characters got a slight graphics upgrade, including Akari. Her general appearance is the same, but if you look closely, the facial detail is better.

I agree too! I think that everyone (except for Luna and Owen) look the same, but are noticeably more detailed and sharper in appearance. :D

Hikari and Takeru's eyes are more innocent and doe-eyed while Yuuki and Akari's look sharp and more assertive. That's why I kinda like Akari better :3

I can definitely see the changes in Akari's eyes compared to her previous appearance. I love her! And for some reason she looks nicer in the outfits that Hikari, or maybe that's just me...

Is there no faster way to befriend people than the P2 rubbing? It took me like 24 days to get Luna and Selena to one heart.

Talking and giving gifts...? You can always talk to people... most people, anyway.
Also, you can P2 rub someone twice. The first time, music notes pop out of their head; the second time, hearts. Just in case anyone didn't know (took me some time to figure out!).

I thought the Green Bell was complicated, the Purple Bell is going to take forever. Unless the hearts sky-rocket around the Date Invite and 2nd present like it did for the bachelors/bachelorettes in ToT.

2 things. Does the purple bell involve raising heart level to a certain degree because that'd suck. 2 what do you mean by P2 rubbing?

1: Yes, for the purple bell you have to raise 10 people's friendship lvl. to 3 hearts. It does suck.

2: the p2 rubbing is a trick that can help level up people's friendship. You use a second wii remote to rub over the desired character or animal, and it gives you a little bonus.

Wow that's a nice trick, I'll probably just befriend some of the bachelors of the rival marriages then, so they get married. That and Hamilton since he seems easy to befriend.

but with the bachelorettes who have rival marriages (minus my sworn enemy) that's already seven... that's a good start :P

I completely forgot about the p2 trick until a couple of days ago... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) when I was going to bed I was thinking about the Kappa and then suddenly remembered "Hey! I can rub people!"


Oh! That supid dog is at 1 heart!~ in ToT it took at least a season or two of running aaall the way up to Brownie Ranch and talking to it/giving it gifts to finally get it to 1 stinking heart... this time, I just talk to it whenever I remember and happen to be in town (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I WILL get you this time, you darn dog! *raises fist in air*
