Would you guys recommend this HM game? Options

Well I have seen this game on many of my visits to game stop and I have wondered on whether I should get it or not. I looked at a guide some screens and gameplay videos but it just does not seem too apealing to me. I don't like the way the characters look either. I have been playing HM since my first copy of Friends of Mineral town for the GBA I just got into the rune factory series and I really like those. so I know this question gets asked an awful lot but should I buy this?

Honestly, I'd go for Animal Parade. It uses the same town and characters, but the overall gameplay and storyline is better. That said, I, too, was never really a fan of the cast... But they don't really matter anyway. The point is to have fun farming. :D

I see thanks for that input. depending on the price I may pick a copy of this up after I beat Rune Factory Frontier = getting married to the ladies of my choice.

I haven't played Animal Parade but it's pretty much a better version of ToT.

Plus, if it never looked appealing to you, it's like buying a cd of a band you absolutely hate... Waste of money. :)

I think I will go and settle on a copy of Rune factory 2 then. thanks for putting it like that.

I've played nearly all of the harvest moon games and I really like this one. I am planning on buying Animal Parade eventually too though :)

I like how busy this game is unlike the last few that I'd consider 'failures' like AWL...
You always have something to do and plan for.
