Noticing the note that goes over people's heads when they get something they like in IoH, how about one related to fan music? Sure, no one's actually submitted any, but maybe it'd make way for a new type of fan-material-thing for people to mess around with.

Ooh, that actually gives me an idea..Fan media. Fan stories, fan art, fan music..fan wallpapers..
If you submit a lot of Ranch Story exclusive media and get lots of fan votes (as quality media), you get a small medal with the note bubble on it. Brilliant! I really should make a darth-paper-boy medal. >.> Awesome. |

Well, in the vein of doing a medal for a person, what about medals that specific admins would reward? A bit more unspecific of a medal to get, because only that admin could reward it for whatever reason they felt... Of course, then I think some admins might get pestered too much about people trying to do something "good enough" to get their medal... and then some people trying might be all mad if they don't. But I suppose it'd be amusing to see anyone try to get the Marie or Kyle medal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif)
Then there's that thing that Aki-Chan talked about with the contests or somesuch that might get more people's creative juices flowing. With the different themes and such. Maybe not weekly, but maybe seasonally or monthly. |

Explain what? I thought they were both kinda straightforward. The first one is specific medals that their respective admin would give out to whoever they felt deserved it. The downfall of which is people begging for them, doing things just for them, and then getting mad if they don't. The second one was just contests people could enter into. Like the wallpaper one earlier.

The admin one would be a medal that a specific admin could reward someone for just being awesome/great in that admin's eyes or whatever. Which is why it would potentially be all complicated and/or annoying to have if people decided to be rabid about 'em.

Dracophile and Hasfusel would probably get Saffy medals. Totoro, Twilight Wanderer, and Farmerchic would get Jasey medals because they are fangirls. <3
