Where exactly is the second item for the treasure hunt!

I'm pretty sure the guide says Maple Lake, and an online guide says Caramel River.

I have spent many in game hours checking behind every tree I can find, and nothing! :P

It is in the Maple Lake District underneath the tree that is close to the entrance of the Caramel River District.

Its actually behind it. It's on the right side of the maple lake area, close to the entrance to the town, just look behind all of the tree's you'll find it ^_^
