Do you talk about things that nobody cares?

Chicken, my dear...
Explain your thoughts on religion. Do you believe in past lives? Do you believe at birth, we foresee our own destiny? Do you believe in pacts made by friends in a previous life and brought into a new one? No religious arguments. This is Chicken and Chicken ONLY. |

TB: Yep, and I'm wearin' out the things that nobody wears.
ClassicTyler: No, I don't believe in past lives or anything like that. I believe that spirits live in heaven before they come to Earth or they are in some sort of limbo. What I do believe in is a loving God who has created each human uniquely and given each of them a special purpose. I see destiny as a "pick your own adventure" book. While there is something you were ultimately made to do, you hold the key to how you carry it out or if you even do. |

If I read tarot cards for you, would you believe it or would you take it with a grain of salt? Would it be garbage or entertainment to you?

If I ate a Bible with some tobasco, would you be deeply offended? Surely something so holy deserves a sauce of some quality.

If Carol wants to eat Max and Max cares about Carol, should Carol be allowed to eat him? Are Max's priorities really in order?

Classictyler: I don't like the idea of tarot cards. =/
Hasfusel: Eat a relic for all I care. And tabasco sauce is vile, btw. Max: Carol should not eat Max; Max has a good heart, but surely he sleeps with one eye open? |

Indeed he does. He's terrified most of the time :3 I also like how the wild things tend to dislike him in the book. I feel these matters were not covered as deeply in the movie.

If you don't mind answering, why do you not like the idea?

If you don't mind answering, what sauce/cooking method would you recommend for the Bible? I once had the Qura'an with pesto and that was okay, but pesto isn't my favourite and I want something richer.

Tyler: In all honestly, it conflicts with my faith. Christianity. I mean, I don't hate people who do it or anything mean like that, but I can't in good conscience be involved with it.
Hasfusel: Why don't you eat real food instead of books? All that fiber is going to kill you, dear. |

Do you believe Tarot cards work, or do you just dislike them because you're told to? |

Hasfusel, a good soy sauce with some pepper tastes extremely good on the Bible.
So all those books out there, like the Qur'an and the Vedas are wrong, besides the Bible? |

Hasfusel: I don't like them, because I feel as if they use a power that are not from God.
Toaster Boy: Everything has SOME truth to it, but I think the Bible is 100% true and God's chosen book. |

So you believe that Tarot cards do work, then?
And what makes the Bible so true, in your honest opinion? I have asked this question to so many Christians and never recieved a proper answer. |

Toaster Boy: Um, isn't that a 14th century Catholic idea?
Hasfusel: Yes, yes I do believe they have powers. Also, why? Take the book of Proverbs for intance. Proverbs says things like: Don't be friends with idiots. You will end up looking stupid, too. Compare it to this Chinese proverb: A child is a piece of paper on which everyone leaves a mark. They are simple truths. That's why I believe the words written down. It's not a book of "THIS IS HOW EVERYTHING WORKS IN THE UNIVERSE." It's like an instruction manual about how to live in the world. Just because people misinterpret it doesn't make it any less valid. And just because they misinterpret it, doesn't mean they have horrible intentions to destroy other religions. Since your topic has gone to the graveyard, may I ask why it's so important that you ask these things? Zen: Turkey is nasty and ham connotates that I am fat. |

If the Bible is an instruction manual on how to live, why didn't they make one for new parents?
