PS3 isn't region locked?
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. But it's still in Japanese, hmmm. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Going to see a Geisha dance today. After watching Howl's Moving Castle (It's on TV, no subtitles, just watching the pretty pictures), I'll probably see if I can have a walk around Might ask for directions to the video rental if it's not too far away. |

I probably wouldn't buy a whole console while I was staying with hosts anyway. Especially since I would imagine there'd be some personal finances to keep track of.

Really, buying something like that while abroad depends on your finances. When I went to Australia and Europe, I had a ton of cash in my possession to spend solely on souvenirs. If you've got that and you see a limited console you really, really want that's region-free, I say go for it, but otherwise, it's not worth it. (For example, if I laid eyes upon a limited Kingdom Hearts-themed console, region-locked or not, in a store while I was visiting Japan, it would be MINE, even if it soaked up all of my souvenir funds. However, a console that was limited, but wasn't a series I have a vested interest in, like say... Street Fighter, I'd probably pass on and save my money for something else.)
And yesssss. PS3 isn't region-locked. I don't know about the PS4, but I assume it isn't either, since the Vita has no region-locking. |

I'm always so jelly of the special edition consoles that Japan gets. One day I may invest in one of those Lightning themed PS3s.
Charm Charm, these photos are amazing. Clearly I am behind on what's going on with you, but you are now living in Japan with a host family? That's really epic. I hope you're enjoying it. To stay on topic with photos, since it's been a while, I figured I'd show you a then and now. I'm fairly certain the pictures I posted back when I was more active are gone anyway. So this was me about the time I was posting actively, circa 2009: (IMG:http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/pjthomas87/b0b05b46-d55a-4674-abbb-3bc4b81aded3_zps333e2a71.jpg) And this is pretty much modern day me, circa 2013: (IMG:http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/pjthomas87/Web/5ff985d2e6ff79142c9dfa9697277cd2_zpscc7e7a0a.jpeg) Not a whole lot has changed, save for maybe my personality... and my hair style... oh and I started getting my eyebrows done... and I leave my facial hair on? Err, okay so maybe a lot has changed. I even have an iPhone now, which is crazy to think about. |

I don't think I'd use it until I get back to Australia anyway. ^^
I have around $2000 to spend. My parents encouraged me to spend it all as this is a big gift from them (And my grandfather) to me. It's my first not-holiday holiday. ^^ Seeing as I haven't played Fire Emblem yet, I can pass. It still cook sooo coool though. And I checked before, PS4 isn't region locked. That made me so happy. I don't know if I'll pick up something Japanese here - I'm pretty sure my goal to become fluent in Japanese won't fade, but it still feels weird to buy something in a language I can't understand everything in. LOOK, MORE PHOTOS. IS SO FUN, TRULY. :D Hey guys, is there anything you recommend I do in my stay here? I don't want to miss anything. :D This is the theatre I went to for kabuki. Some of the shops had great stuff, it's where I got small souveniers for my friends when I come back. :) The kabuki itself.....like.....I liked it, but....some parts were pretty boring. I liked it when they were all on stage doing stuff but a lot of the time it was one person doing really slow movements on each side again and again and it made me sleepy. >-< It was very pretty though! :D No pictures allowed during, sorry. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00179_zpsec243c83.jpg) I hope I have enough. :0 (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00182_zpse5d2eeaf.jpg) I'VE BEEN GIVEN SOOO MUCH FOOD I SOSO FAT. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00184_zps00efd218.jpg) I've only eaten these chocolates and wafer-like things they've given me. I haven't gone in the other bag yet, I don't want to. I'm afraid. I've shared some. Sharingsharingsharing. <3 (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00205_zpsb5a3b2c5.jpg) My stuff has accumulated since this. I've packed half of it away. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00183_zps5156e177.jpg) Purty. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00175_zps78830934.jpg) Lions meeting! And the other Australian exchange who went to Fukuoka. Our host families keep on saying, "dinner party", when it's a Lions meeting with food! D: Masaya has now informed that what to say now instead of dinner party. No more confusions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/1454925_444786442288899_1475443854_n_zps93b965f4.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/1470138_444786428955567_174780610_n_zpseb74f264.jpg) lul find me (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/1491711_1187266628080614_1534868872_n_zps4ff64272.jpg) I got to be a ryuugakusei. :D I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON IN CLASS MOST OF THE TIME. So I was more like a visitor for four days. I got to eat obento, wear wabaki, have a strict uniform, make coming and going speeches, yadayada. :D I don't know how many times people said "kawaiii!" >-< My favourite class I had in my time was the Japanese class. She was more or less the only teacher, aside the tennnin sensei, who tried to interact with me, and she tried to do so in English. The Japanese class felt more English than the English class. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) We did tanka, and a haiku. And the story of osananajimi and how they grow up and are in love but are too shy to just marry so send letters and the explanation in their attempts to find the right English words were just hilarious. I wish I could have taped it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) "They get...taller.....like..." /teacher kneels down and goes whoop back up "Like that!" It was like a guessing game. "Ah! Grew older, got it. X)" For some reason, it's a Christian school, which took me a while to figure out at first. I was like, "Why they prayin' they be Japanese. .n." None of the students said they were religious in Christianity. They all hate religion class. Makes me wonder how many of the teachers were. I don't see point. I found it strange because Christianity is so small in Japan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) The not so Japanese uniform I wore. Soooo cold! Sleepy face! (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1445_zps73dea8f4.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1446_zpsf71d52fb.jpg) No earrings/phones/can't even wear a scarf until after school. Girls tend to get their ears pierced after school altogether. I was like whoah. :0 And we have to clean the classroom before we leave. I feel so impatient because I go home straight after the last subject, but they have like another rollcall after cleaning. And they have like a class before rollcall in the morning. Their rollcall is a class. Like. X.X; I didn't even have homework and I was exhausted! D: And about forty students in one classroom...every classroom. School is huuuge. And there's like so many more in the same city! I did ikebana at a club! :D (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1447_zps9e98e80e.jpg) I didn't really like mine. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1448_zps20e04a4e.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1452_zps130415fd.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1451_zps26ae86fb.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1450_zpsa2562009.jpg) They have a calligraphy class. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1453_zps50895a3f.jpg) I'M SO BAD. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) RAMPAGE IN THE TEA ROOM! (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1464_zps3f1daa46.jpg) lolthejuniors!XD Everyone hushes in slowly..."Oh my gawd a foreign student whut do we do eigo dekimasen D:", then this girl out of nowhere, "It's cute!" /Thumbs up "Good job!" I just cracked up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1473_zps756a9dbe.jpg) Haha. I couldn't play this game. Someone reads out the first half of a poem, then you have to snap the other half. It was peaceful, then....it got scary so I backed out. omo (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1467_zps73d5adbb.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1471_zps038b4b91.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1474_zps65b02b06.jpg) TATAMI. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1492_zpsce5918b6.jpg) I cooked on the last day of my ryuugakusei life, which was today. :) Flower shaped carrots. >w< There's mochi on the bottom. It got stuck to my braces when I tried pulling it away with chopsticks! Had to swap utensils. DX (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1493_zps2500ac98.jpg) This was way to amai for me. Don't like it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1494_zpsd072c9db.jpg) The girls who I cooked with. Their...first year middle school. They were nice. My hair looks bad in a ponytail in this style. I'm waiting for it to grow back out. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1495_zpsa232050b.jpg) LAST DAY PHOTOS. :D With tennin sensei and some other sensei who taught us I don't know his role. :< (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1496_zps5e25824e.jpg) They were all really nice to me. I felt uncomfortable sometimes but it would always get better. I didn't talk to all of them - I can understand that though. We've had Japanese people come to my school and I find it really hard to go up and talk to them. I'm sad that I really only warmed up to them on the last day/started to be less shy myself. It's hard when everyone speaks so fast and you don't quite understand what's going on. Hairstyles: short, ponytail, pigtails, or twintail plats. WE HAD A PARTY. :D
I'm hoping to get photos and videos off them soon, because I didn't have my camera with me at that time. I think all of them like AKB..8...48....I don't know. That really popular Japanese pop band with the big group of girls - even the taiiku teacher knew the dance. She did it during class, all the girls were like "heeeeeeeee!" Haha, they really go "heeeeee" all at once, I love it. One of the male teachers mocked them once. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Party was so cool. I get overwhelmed in the spotlight, so these occasions are rare. It was so nice. They drew a picture of the blackboard of stuff about me and some Japanese words I didn't know the meaning of. We played Fruits Basket, and they sang two songs for me (Literally. I sat by myself in a seat while they danced up on the stage singing at me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ), and they gave me pressies 'cause they know I rabu rabu the Ghibli! (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1513_zpsb0c81b75.jpg) lul I haven't read them yet. I don't know what they all say. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1514_zps924b2b7b.jpg) THE GHIBLIS. <3 I gave the class a boomerang I bought over. :D (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1502_zps255bf5d6.jpg) PEACE SIGN KYUU! (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1503_zpscc415f74.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1504_zps0033369b.jpg) She was my buddy. :D (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1506_zpsf4fc2777.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1507_zps7b515f36.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1510_zpsf862506f.jpg) She's the best. When they gave me presents, they were like, "Thank you! Thank you!" She gave me hers. "I love you." She always looks so serious when saying these sarcastic comments in English so funny! X] I replied, "aishiteruuu!" (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/IMG_1512_zps28d0b90f.jpg) Haha. Some people. "Oh! Niji." They liked my braces, ha. All the other people with braces had clear braces. Glad I got some photos with some others who seemed like they were too shy to chat with me. :) I'm going to miss them. :( And now, I rest! Sorry, long post is long. .n. |

I keep forgetting how young you are charmsicles....god I feel old.
And yes, Christianity is pretty small in Japan. A majority of Japanese are Buddhists, Shinto, or non-religious, I think. as for the PS4 and the region coding. the system is not region coded. |

You and me both, EB. You and me both. ;(
I am overwhelmed by all of the victory/peace signs that are being held up everywhere. I thought that was just an anime thing, but apparently they really do that in Japan. I wonder if they feel the same way about us when they come over and find out the duck face is real. |

I'll always be younger than you it's how aging works. .-.
But I feel old myself. I'm nearly eighteen. I just look like I'm twelve. :( And usually it's not that they necessarily believe in it, but they moreso just follow the customs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Haha. Whenever I feel too plain for a photo, I just chuck up a peace sign now. No. Never. I hate duckface. Lips shouldn't do that. DX |

Charm Charm: I JUST WANT TO SLOW DOWN A LITTLE OKAY?! And thank goodness you won't be making a duckface anytime soon.
EB: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Probably. But the Charmface would be so adorable. Novi: Haha, "Pea-OHMIGAWD MY FINGERS!!" Also, that sounds highly disturbing. X( I'm not sure, but I may be happy that you missed the opportunity. Bleagh. |

I'm diseasy! :D
So I'mma post my pictures. There's lots of Christmas lights around. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00191_zps3fe4d16c.jpg) I've yet to shop here. Have walked through twice. Tenjin underground station shopping area. Everyone says it's really good. I wanted to go yesterday/today, but, sick. ^^; It gets quite crowded (for me). (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00193_zps2a3cc74e.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00194_zpsc19022b4.jpg) Haha. "Can I take a walk around?" "The shops aren't open yet, ten minutes." "Okay." Next thing, we're in the car. I'm like, whut. omo I just wanted to walk around the street. Then we're at Marinoa, shopping outlet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00210_zps48b8dbbb.jpg) "Shop until you're hungry!" "About how long until I should come back?" "Shop until you're hungry!" "But- uh- Ah, whatever. 'Kaykays." My host grandmother has misheard/misunderstood me more than once. It's easier with her daughter, Akiko. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I'm like, I don't get hungry! I lost track of the time and thought I was gone for two hours. There's so many shops. I actually just got bored and wandered back to the meeting spot. Turns out I was gone for three hours and she was trying to ring me on the phone, but it was turned off. I was like, "I'M SO SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY." "大丈夫!しんぱかった!" "SOOOOOORRY!" - Why I tried to ask how long I should take. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I like the shops Earth, Music and Ecology and Axes Femme. Got cute dresses. .w. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00215_zps6c70a07b.jpg) There was a hat store but it turns out my hat is also unusually small for Japan. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00216_zps6f7e7e8a.jpg) Any of the ones that did fit I didn't want that much. X[ (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00217_zps45f6c06c.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00218_zpsb2f5d09e.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00220_zps3fbee5fe.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00225_zpsfce68e0d.jpg) :D MY SOLE REASON FOR GOING TO JAPAN. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00227_zps90f1e738.jpg) Jokes. (No really) I had white anko taiyaki. It was deliciouuuuuuuuuuus. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/egg5_zps884d268a.png) I got my dog a present at Pet Paradise. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00230_zps4d7d77a9.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00231_zps8b09eb84.jpg) It's not constrictive, it's probably a little big actually. They had lots of dresses and and stuff. I kept on walking around the store with a big grin. There were beds and stuff I wanted to get but big/dog already has one. I've seen a dog dressed up in suit shirt and pants while walking the streets. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Went to a dinner party later on that day. Had like, seven courses of food again and got full at the entree. DX There was a pretty singer. :) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00239_zps6b707875.jpg) That's my host grandmother's daughter's middle son Naoto. I put my hair accessory on Masaya. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00244_zps84f5b8fd.jpg) He's really funny. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) They called out the kids for presents. His nineteen and in university, and his name was called first. I was second. We're up on the stage receiving presents from "Santa". He kept on saying, "I'm in universityyyy. I'm an adultttt. I can driveeee. University studeeent", making me crack up during all the photos they took. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Then after the party he was jumping up and down going, "Tired. Tired. Tired. Tired!" "This is why you got a present." "If you call me a kid you will break our relationship." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Their youngest son Kouta plays the piano. He jumped on it after the party. :) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00247_zps388fae4f.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00248_zpsa07220ea.jpg) They call lights "Illumination". This kid fell over on the stairs. She was okay though so it was funny. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00262_zpsbdf79c29.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00264_zpse22ffc59.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00265_zpsdd7038d3.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00266_zpse075ab96.jpg) Masaya says everything is average size. I'm like, "EVERYTHING'S HUGE. >:0" My host's little...um...I think it starts with a T.....um....that section where you put things of the stuff you worship and stuff but they're buddhists not shintoists UMM. I forget. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00271_zpsb0a4ffaa.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00272_zpsbd5b8ab5.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00273_zpseb9ac5d8.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00274_zps170db44a.jpg) They made like three servings of Takoyaki. I managed to eat seven or so. Masaya really likes takoyaki, he said he ate twenty. I dunno how he's so skinny. :F (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00277_zps138b9564.jpg) Then we had pancakes after too. And this white doughy mochi stuff maybe with anko in it. I really like it but I forget it's name. I nearly traded some food chopstick by chopstick by accident. They, "Ah! No!" omo "No chopstick touch!" omo "No!" "I forgot, sorry. :<" "Haha, s'kay." I fell asleep while they were cleaning up. I thought I was only down for around ten minutes, but Masaya said it was one to two hours. >-< I was like, "But we had to go out, why didn't you guys wake me up! D:" "Japanese custom. Lots of people sleep. We wait until you wake up." /Embarassed They're strict on the rule of only eating when you're sitting down. Anywhere in public anyway. I don't know how many times I've pulled out food to eat then slowly slid it back in the packet because I remembered, "Oh, yeah. Gotta sit down. >.<" And shoes! They'll stand on other shoes to reach the shoes they want to put on. Once I had to answer the door, and it was too far away for me to reach across the genkan. So I slid out a shoe in the middle, stood on it and pulled the door open. "Quick, I'm on a shoe." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) The second school I visited didn't have wabaki. And I've seen different set outs of the changeroom in Japanese clothing stores. I don't know what to do anymore, really. Some don't seem to care, some do (Or maybe I just haven't noticed everywhere! Haha. People trying on shoes in the shoe store....my, my). Once I was standing on the rised step with my shoes on, and the store lady was like, "Uh, shoe." I looked down and was like, "crud! Gomenasai!" Then I stepped my naked stocking feet onto the floor by accident while stepping back onto the rised step. Afterwards I just felt like a failure. Most people forgive ignorance regarding this but this store lady seemed a little unimpressed. Gomenasai. ;n; I went to Canal City again (I may have called it Hakata-mae before by accident). It's in Hakata. There's a whole other side of the place I didn't know. Uggggh, so big. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00280_zpsd1337af8.jpg) There's a full-on Ghibli store I love it. .A. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00281_zps245d931c.jpg) I want to buy my boyfriend a tie but he hasn't seen that much Ghibli. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00282_zps8e74038c.jpg) I NEARLY BOUGHT A FULL SET (which I still want). I only got a mug instead. S'cute. <3 (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00283_zps74cb1a03.jpg) Ah! I'm pregnant! (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00286_zpsca9f2986.jpg) RAMEN SO GOOD. :F (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00291_zpsd824eced.jpg) Another shopping place I went to while my host grandmother did a blood drive. I didn't know I'd pass by a shop so I didn't bring my debit card. Only had around $20 with me. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00294_zps312268dc.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00295_zpsbf2da695.jpg) I went to Aiwa on Monday. It was....overwhelming. D: It is a good place though. The whole class is of different nationalities, and you only speak Japanese really (Some people can help each other in their own language). Forces you to think in Japanese. And I'm sure they do independent stufy at home - university. I had to drop down to a lower class. I was going to go today to but instead had to go to the hospital. Everyone speaks over each other at once, and they all have accents, and people were trying to talk to me and I have enough trouble one-on-one and ahmygahd. .A. The second school I went to. Only for a day. Tuesday, after Aiwa. Masaya'd probably say it's average. IT'S HUGE. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00298_zps7ca98967.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00299_zps21df7bf3.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00300_zps0cb383f7.jpg) Seven floors I dun even On both sides left and right This is only one part of the school There's a whole other part excluding the sport fields @____@ (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00301_zps983c8769.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00307_zps30dcd4fc.jpg) The class. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00297_zps56bc815e.jpg) We played something like Karuta. Pictures of it from the last school I went to. The tanka poems haiku stuff. I got one card! :D We also played "ask the foreigner any question you want so long as it's in English" during English. They were all normal until someone asked "Do you have boyfriend?" "Do you have picture of boyfriend?" "Do you have boyfriends?" "How many boyfriends have you had?" "Do you like apples?" It was funny though. I answered everything they asked. They found it humurous that we actually do have common images of Santa on a surfboard. |

Quickly visited a TV studio place.

X] (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00314_zps59140229.jpg) Kids playing around with greenscreen. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00315_zpsd6c27c1e.jpg) Stopped by on a museum on the way from the school also. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00316_zps85ca272f.jpg) "よえまによめないよめない。" It wasn't just me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00317_zps42537c8d.jpg) I could read some of the words here and there in the neat ones. The neat ones stood out. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00318_zpsdf538162.jpg) I shall never forget the word oshiri now. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00319_zps18523533.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00320_zps0caf3553.jpg) Meow. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00321_zpsafd1203d.jpg) I bought my mum a bookmark and a cat calender for the house. Then after that, I went and saw the shiro nearby also before returning home after school. Heiwadai Korokan Ruins. Bridge entrance across a lake. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00326_zpsa13fac98.jpg) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00327_zps6ed9d5a6.jpg) We counted the steps in Japanese on the way up. Thirty something. This one was especially funny/cute. Kind of looked like a crazy pug. The lady would throw the thrisbee, he go and catch it, then just sit there and chew it until the lady came to fetch it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00343_zps1c0c1d9f.jpg) I would like to see the sakura but it's Winter. :[ (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00345_zps16c46db6.jpg) Preserved. I don't know if you can go inside or not. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00348_zps7da678f5.jpg) Higher up than what it may look like. nekochan (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00352_zps52c74b6c.jpg) Another part of the ruins. (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00354_zps61dad71e.jpg) Kind of had to jump up the steps. And in my skirt. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/CAM00356_zpsf9da9276.jpg) I really only took videos at the top, sorry. But Fukuoka goes on until the mountains/sea on all sides. Whoop. .o. After that, I went home, had a nap, woke up right before a Lions meeting, felt sick, exchanged banners/badges, went home in a taxi, couldn't sleep, ate dinner, slept. .-. It's cool now though. I got a new batch of my medication today at the hospital which will last me on my flight to Australia. I should be better ashita or asatte. Hoping I can still go to Masaya's university tomorrow and see him off at the airport. He's been really good to me in my time here. My entire host family has been. You got her presents! Yay! :D Good job. |

A sumo wrestler's butt is a strange thing to see when the page loads.
We once went to the weather station in primary school, maybe kindergarten. The teacher lady had on a blue jacket so she blended with the blue-screen. I think I might want to live in a citylike place like that someday. The pretty, tall/huge buildings and designs, but there'd be too many people there for me. :( CHATS! |

The town I live in is much smaller than this. It is really nice, but I don't want to live in the city. I want to live somewhere akin to my home in Australia, but nicer.

Apparently not well known enough for me. Or maybe I've just been away for too long. :(
