S'not that much of a rule so much as.. kind of a philosophy? I dunno. I REALLY want to be a cosplay god, so I'm hard on myself because I don't exactly have the most perfect features right-now-at-this-very-moment. The problem with those guys is that they aren't hard on themselves. They do it for fun. I do it for fun too, but I want to GET somewhere with it. I want people to be in awe of me for years to come.

This duo, dressed as Namco's Gilgamesh (Tower of Druaga) and Valkyrie (Legend of Valkyrie) have my respect because, not only did they do the costumes well, but I actually really like the characters.

Obviously, you haven't been active in the cosplay community very long/AT ALL. There are at least a couple hundred 'good cosplayers' out there. You just have to know where to look, kiddo.
