Yeah, Victini looks cool. I like that he's a fire type. Fire types got more recognition this time.
I am now just thinking of nicknames for my Pokemon. I may name my Tepig, Lumbre. But that's too expected... |

Fire types are one of my favorites, but unfortunately I won't have one this time around.
Speaking of nicknames, I need to be thinkin of some as well. Have no idea what to name my team, but I can't just not nickname them. Hopefully something comes to mind by the time the games come out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Just go with how you're feeling when you get them. Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy....wait....
When is your Spring Break? Is it the last complete week of March? |

No idea, I think mid March, or well whenever Easter is. Week of that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I'll come up with some cool nicknames some how (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Dunno if it'll be as cool as Jub-Jub or Optimus though haha. |

Easter is not until late April. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Should be the same as mine. I hope... I loved Optimus! Great name. You can transfer him over? |

Hey hey, I'm also extremely excited. I just don't really get into picking out my team ahead of time... I just catch whatever catches my eye.

You should look into some of the new Pokemon, still. Just in case you notice one you'd really like to train.

I've looked at them. I'm just going to catch whatever catches my eye first. This time around though, I really have to focus on the different types. I think that's why I do so bad in Pokemon games. I still can't get past the Elite 4 in Soul Silver...

I think I might transfer my old team over after getting through White's main game.
Z: Nothin wrong with that. Not sure if you've said it, but do you know what starter you're picking? |

ZBoy: Well, that's fine too. They'll all be new, at least, which is what I like the best. I'm forced to get a whole new team of Pokemon. No oldies.
Did you catch Lugia already? Wait, I think you have to before the Elite Four. Well, just train your Pokemon. What level are they in? As long as you train six of them to about the same level, you should be fine. Use potions and stuff too and revives. Especially after each match. Also, you might wanna feed your Pokemon vitamins that you can buy (or that you might already own), like Calcium or Protein to strengthen them. But that's not really a requirement. Still helps! HMR: Yeah, I'll transfer some of my guys too. I think you can't even transfer them until after the Elite Four. |

I can't remember what level they all are... I think I was trying to train them all to at least 50. I never heard of vitamins? I should check to see if I have any...
And yeah HMR and Oscar, it does sound like no Pokemon from other generations can appear until after the Elite 4. |

Level 50 sounds good, ZBoy! Keep that up. Especially if you have Lugia. Yeah, things like Protein, Iron, Calcium, etc. You should definitely have some! It raises their stats depending on what you give them. You may also want to try a little EV training. Now, it's kind of annoying, which is why I only do a little bit of it for my main team, but it is beneficial.
Yeah, no other Pokemon besides the new ones will appear until you get the National Pokedex. Which I'm happy about! This way the adventure can feel really new since you only will be meeting new Pokemon. It'll be time to relearn everything! |

I had a feeling you'd ask!
http://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html...&rid=192299 Read the starting part of that, it'll explain better than me and will tell you where to find the Pokemon you need to train. Pretty much they are these "hidden" points that help raise your Pokemon in certain stats, such as speed, power, HP, etc. Certain Pokemon give you more of these points. Like Geodude's give you more defense EV's when defeated. And the Pokemon that defeats the, let's say the Geodude, will get the EV points in defense. But if you have an EXP Share on another Pokemon, then they will also get some of the EV points. There are certain items that will also double your EVs. I was lucky to get one right away in Soul Silver, I may have to ask somebody to trade the item again into Black for me. >.> *notices he said Black* :O Guess that's the version I want, haha |

Don't worry; you won't get in trouble for straying off from the topic a bit. Heck, it's still Pokemon! I edited in a little more in my post. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Sorry, I think I just completely threw your Pokemon world upside down lolz.

I never bothered worry about EVs. I like the extra unique value to my Pokemon, but to actually fuss about it is just silly to me.
"Let's see, I fought ten Caterpie, two Rattata, one Pidgey that means my EVs are now . . ." Yeah, don't care. =/ I tried once when I was younger, but I got bored quick. And I generally love list making and pointless data. |

It's more for competitive battling, anyways. In-game doesn't matter much. But I'm not that hardcore, I'm kind of in between where I may do some EV training and stuff, but I go with Pokemon that I personally like and whatever moves I like.
