I've only glanced briefly at the new Pokémon, and I will resist the temptation to look at them on Bulbapedia in any detail. Since I'll definately get a Gen V game when it comes out here, I'd be much happier to not know all of them and have them as surprises. But, some people really want to see the new ones. I don't think it'd harm sales. Nintendo's being silly. agreed I do like knowing my starter choicves and the legendaries I will have to hunt down though |

Maybe Pokebeach and Serebii got fake emails? Nobody else has gotten any emails and why would Nintendo start with B&W? Why not with D&P? Or others?

Maybe Pokebeach and Serebii got fake emails? Nobody else has gotten any emails and why would Nintendo start with B&W? Why not with D&P? Or others? They also received calls from lawyers. They are confirmed to be real copyright infringement mails. PokeBeach and Serebii were targeted because they're big, and they're showing screenshots as opposed to just sprites and written information. |

I guess so. But didn't Serebii do that for Diamond and Pearl too? They didn't get in trouble then.

Perhaps Nintendo is being more aggressive with this release.
It doesn't matter, though. Psypokes, Veekun, and Bulbapedia all have the sprites. That's the important part, after all. |

Bulbapedia seems to be lacking a lot of sprites, really.

It says that Psypokes isn't working for me. They're cleaning up the site or something. Anybody get the same thing?
Also, not sure of other have seen this, but (IMG:http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/3104/mebukijikaalternate.png) it's the deer's seasonal forms. Winter looks awesome. |

Yeah. Psypoke's host is doing some maintenance. No big deal, I'm sure. It'll be back up soon.
Veekun's crowded right now, I think, it's running slow . . . Is Bulbapedia missing sprites? I did some skimming, and it seemed like they had them. They just don't have them at the top of the page . . . But I imagine their more concerned with getting the information out there. *** I saw the deer last week or so when Serebi released it. I like the autumn form~<3 |

Yes, autumn is awesome too!
I definitely want the deer, fire pig and ice cream mon. I want that one flying/rock type bird (pretty strong) but I also like the hawk and the pigeon. That'll be a tough choice. And then I don't know if I want the turtle or that ghost octopus as my water type. There's hardly any water types this time around....the turtle and octopus are the coolest ones, anyways. May get the octopus cuz I've never had a ghost type. |

I like the bird that looks like Archeopteryx. I bet it's a fossil Pokemon, which is totally awesome!
I also like the gothic-girl Pokemon, because it's an interesting design. I love the deer - it goes from adorable to totally awesome. I like the octopus . . . but mostly just because it's gender differences amuse me . . . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) I also like the final evolution of the silkworm Pokemon . . . but I don't usually bother with the early bug-types . . . I'm still waiting for Sugimori's artwork . . . I really want to see all the Pokemon in better detail. |

What is the name of that bird, Crystal? Might be the same one I'm thinking of.
And do you know where I can see the octopus gender differences? Didn't know there was! |

I'm going to have terrible retro-interference when these games come out in English. I'm trying to learn the Japanese names, so I can refer to the Pokemon more accurately. Of course, this means I'll have a heck of a time learning the English names. >_<
(I still try to call Bidoof, Bippa/Bipper sometimes.) |

Yay, Baby Eagle can learn Brave Bird. Finally another good pokemon can learn it. Pidgeot/Farfetch might have some competition for my bird spot.

The eagle and the vulture Pokemon are version exclusives, I think. The eagle definitely is, I can recognize it's name.

Did they come with Pokéwalkers, and if not are they compatible with the Gen IV ones? It was a good feature, I thought.
