Nintendo e-mailed a bunch of Pokemon fansites, mainly Serebii and Pokebeach, saying that if they don't take the the pictures down then they would sue them. Nintendo is claiming it as "Copyright Infringement".

Here is the e-mail that was sent to Pokebeach.

Oh man, that's so dumb. But whatever. I can't see how it'll hurt Nintendo since it has only made people more excited for the game. So no pictures ever until the US release?

EDIT: I have found this website that has ALL the new Pokemon. :D Nintendo hasn't gotten to them...yet. Some pics are even of better quality or different than Serebii's pics. Look around!

Sounds like Nintendo has pitched a fit becuase the internet killed their potential, "Look! New Pokemon!" marketing. That's pathetic. They should just get over because we're gonna know every thing about video games before they're released now. Technology just allows us to do that, and Nintendo's going to be fighting a losing battle.

Psypokes not only has all the sprites, but they have shinies too! Also back sprites. They probably have gender-difference sprites as well.
Keep it quiet though, wouldn't want them to get busted by Nintendo's paranoia.

I've only glanced briefly at the new Pokémon, and I will resist the temptation to look at them on Bulbapedia in any detail. Since I'll definately get a Gen V game when it comes out here, I'd be much happier to not know all of them and have them as surprises.
But, some people really want to see the new ones. I don't think it'd harm sales. Nintendo's being silly.
