To me the coffin doesn't really fit into the pokemon universe...

Unless the coffins in question are somehow organic material rather than an inhabited piece of environment, they seem rather strange as it looks rather unlikely that there are abundant arcophagi lying around the Pokémon world ready to be picked up and used as a home.
Lindstrom, I'll take you on using only Generation I pokémon if you want, though I don't really have anyone to deal with Aerodactyl who falls into that category. |

Not Generation 1 stuff, it's more like stuff that you find early in the game before the first gym leader that generally sucks like Raticate. My main team is already all Gen 1 guys anyway.

Alright then, bring iiiittt. Since those guys are generally weak, presumably even masterminded by Lindstrom, I'll be able to some of my weaker favourites I wouldn't otherwise get away with. Tell me some time when you want to go. In case today's good, I'm here for another hour or two.

I'd have to first catch them then train them. So far I figure I'll go with Raticate, Fearow, Beedrill, and Mightyena. Anyway let's move this to the general thread.

Looks like Serebii has sprites for all the new Pokemon. The list goes all the way up 649 now. I like some of the designs, some feel like their reaching, and some are just unpleasant. As expected, ya know? |

Some of those look pretty neat, especially the interesting new typings like Water/Ghost. Must say though, the evolutions are all really really boringly similar.
The ice cream, the ghostly lantern and the duck are so far my favourites. |

My gosh! So many new Pokemon. Is this all the Pokemon or are there still more to be revealed?
Well, I'm happy with all of the starters final form. Especially the grass snake's. I also noticed the ice cream Pokemon, haha. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I want an ice type on my team for sure, so maybe he'll be it, but I think its over all stats aren't too good, maybe the dragon and ice type will be better. And did you guys see the three rare Pokemon that relate to each other that are in every game? It's those cloud things, which to me, look better than the previous generation trio which were little flying Mew looking things. These look stronger. Zebra looks amazing! The deer, crocodile, eagle, turtle, weird skinny bird thing, mushroom, chandelier and the main legendary are all looking awesome. Probably more, but those ones are the ones off of the top of my head. |

I'm conflicted on a lot. Mostly on Monozu, yellow spider and Kaburuchi. Need to seem them in person. Sprites aren't clear enough for me to decide.
And that pony thing. |

Purely by the fact that he's at the end of the pokedex, I'm going to assume the cyborg bug guy with the gun thing is gonna be at least as awesome as Mewtwo.

It's those cloud things, which to me, look better than the previous generation trio which were little flying Mew looking things. These look stronger. I think those are higher up in the legend scale . . . like Groudon/Rayquaza/Kyorge. I think the trio for this game is the four-legged animals toward the end that are all part fighting type. I'm not sure, though. Did you see that Choroneko evolves into that beautiful slender leopard? It's only a two-stage evo, but the second one is awesome! I'm catching a female and naming it Bast. I just am. I'm withholding some judge on the others, though. I want to see Sugimori's art for them before I make final decisions. Because I didn't like some sprites for the older Pokemon, but I loved the official art. |

I meant the earliest revealed BW Pokemon.
But some of the old RGB spirtes are distrubing. Eevee isn't nearly as cute in the older games. |

Crystal: Ahh, yeah! You're right. The fighting type things seem more likely to be the trio. But those other three also go well together. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
And yeah, I love the evolution of the cat! But I don't like its stats, so I won't be using it on my team, sadly. :( All I know is that I'm probably gonna be using that ice cream Pokemon! Go ice types. Either that or the ice/dragon type, but I bet you can't really get him until a long time since he's at the end of the Pokedex. |

I wouldn't put too much store in those stats yet. From the look of them, they aren't full base stats. At least, base stats don't usually end in twos or threes, they end in zeros or fives. I think those stats might have been pulled from a few level 100 examples or hacked Pokemon. But, it's just speculation on my part.
I'm not too big on the ice cream one. I like ice-types, just not that design. I like the gothic Pokemon, the cat Pokemon, the earlier bug type (surprise!), and some of the grass-types. Of course, I tend to train everything I can (I have just under twenty in training on most of my games), so it's not really an issue for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) |

Oh really? Well, that's good news! Or bad news...but I say they're a pretty good indicator of how the Pokemon will be. I still like the cat, though. Mad that the terrier dog got a full evolution line. =/
At first I didn't like the ice cream guy (sprite quality), but I'm starting to like it more. I like its stats better than the other two ice types. The polar bear looks weird and then there's that huge freaky snowflake. And then the dragon Pokemon, but he looks like he'll be an event Pokemon or something. Ice cream!! |
