Buffalon is so cool. Dibs on naming mine Jules.
Honestly though, I really would like some more evolutions/moves at least to original Pokémon so that they aren't just so obsolete anymore. There are so many unevolving/single evolution Pokémon that I really like but are totally unusable in competitive fights. It's sort of a shame that they only want to introduce completely new ones, especially since now they're looking less and less original. |

Wow, I just noticed that you get three rivals in this game. Well, one could be considered the rival while the other two friends that like to battle you at random times lolz.

lol Has I'm going to name mine Baracus.
A surprising amount of Pokemon have been revealed so soon after the game's announcement though, I don't think we had this many shown around this time for D/P did we? |

I don't know, I think we probably did. Though I don't think we knew the second (or possible third) forms for the starters. The game is about to be released in Japan, so we'll know real soon all the forms of the starters, for sure. |

^ The scans confirming the starter evolutions may have been faked. =/ I think we're just gonna have to wait for the games to be 100% sure about them. *** In other news . . . CAT POKEMON! Aborably evil dark-type cat Pokemon. I'm in heaven. Not sure I like the dog . . . thing. The deer is totally awesome. The mushroom and the rock thing seem . . . pointless. The trantula is actually pretty cute. >_> Hovering around on my decisions about the others. Also, the first gym is both incredibly mean . . . and very fair. |

Yea dog is weird. It looks cute, but it looks like it has a diseased cottage cheese face or something.

Crystal: Yes, cats!! :D
And I agree about the first gym leader, lolz. I actually like the mushroom. I hope it evolves into something awesome. Would make it the first poison type I've ever had on my permanent team. The only Pokemon I know will be in my team is the pig. |

Oscar: Yes, dark-type cats. It's 100% awesome. Now all I need is a fire-type cat and my life is complete.
*** I think it's funny watching the popularity of the starters shift since their reveal. Orginal General Opinions: Tsutarja: Awesome. Pokabu: Okay. Mijumaru: Sucks. And now? Tsutarja: Still a running favorite. Pokabu: Easily the least popular. (I've seen it reffered to as 'Self-Cooking Bacon'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) Mijumaru: Gaining popularity rapidly. *** The games come out September 18, this coming Saturday, in Japan. However, Bulbagarden says that some of the preorders have already begun shipping. We could have a huge amount of information coming in any day now. |

That's my brother's birthday.
I'm really looking forward to the coming week when we will know everything! And poor pig. :( But that's okay. I want to have the uncommon starter. |

My starters are still going to be Tsutarja and Mijumaru. I may do an exploratory file using the pig to avoid my usual five thousand resets as I learn about the game's flow.
Also . . . Choroneko is available on Route 2! That early! Fwee~ =3 |

"Neko" means cat.
Choroneko is the cat! The cat is available on Route 2! So is Yorterri, the weird dog . . thing. >_> |

Wait, what?! The awesome cat is available THAT soon. The Pokemon that are found that fast are usually the below average, weak ones. Let's hope that won't be true for this cat...
Let's hope the cat has a full evolution line. |

It's impossible for a cat Pokemon to be lame or weak. I don't care what they say about Meowth and Skitty. D; Besides, Pidgey and Mankey (FR/LG) are available early, and they can kick toosh. Also, Mareep and Wooper (HG/SS), Ralts (RSE), and Shinx (DPP).
A full evolution line would be nice, since every other cat in existence has only a two stage evolution. I hear Yorterri has a full evolution line. |

I still have Mareep, and she was the 'mon when catching legendaries. Never knock early birds. Meowth/Persian could do you pretty well, really. I didn't use Skitty much...

Crystal: Yeah, there are some Pokemon early in the game that can be pretty good, but there's not many. Let's hope this cat is! It's got it's competitor, that dog! And if the dog gets a full evolution line then, dammit, so should the cat!
Darth: Mareep was awesome. Though I hardly trained mine. Still liked it.... |

I bet I could win fights using Raticate, Fearow, Beedrill, and 3 other early game pokemon. Pick 'em and I'll give it a shot.
Back on topic, am I the only one who likes the coffin pokemon? |
