So, I just downloaded it (I'm on it now)
Google Chrome is a new web browser released by Google. And so far, I have to be honest, this is probably the fastest browser I've ever been on. Plus, apparently it has better virus protection. What's everyone else's thought on it? I definitely recommend it. |

"New" isn't quite the word I'd use. Aside from that though, it's pretty nice and I'd probably use it more than Firefox if it wasn't for all of Firefox's extensions and stuff that I still find myself trying to do when I use another browser. Though sometimes I'll use it for basic browsing or when FireFox is acting up.

I use Google Chrome as a sort of backup browser. I like having alternatives. However, it's too light-weight to be my main browser.

Saffy: I get what you mean by Lightweight. But really all I ever do on the internet is go look up game walkthroughs, watch videos, or go here. I don't need to do all the stuff I would do that would constantly overload my browser.

I don't do very much either, but the feel of Google Chrome isn't right for most of my uses. I suppose I do quite like the Incognito feature, but who wouldn't?

I have been using Chrome since I found out about it's release. I'm a huge fan of it, and any of Google's products for that matter. The plug ins need to be updated a little more, and it's wonderful.

It's pretty good! It's really simple. Everything is straight forward. It remembers the eight sites you go to most. You can change the appearance of it! Right now I have the "late night" theme. Umm it has some quick links at the top for like YouTube and Wikipedia. That incognito window is also available. It looks complete to me!

Apparently it's missing a few features like printing, though.

I have the print option in the File tab, but when I click on it, nothing happens. But that could be because I haven't added a printer to my laptop yet.

My brother has it and he likes it, but it isn't really suitable for my needs either. That and he's sort of a Google fanboi at the moment, so I'm fairly wary of any praise he gives it. I also dislike the look of the browser itself. Stupid thing not to like, but that dumb metallic look his has isn't something I could live with day in and day out.
I'll stick with Firefox for now. If I had a penny for every time I used one of the add-ons in my everyday browsing, I'd have enough to buy those steel-toe leather boots I want. |

My only problem with Firefox of late is that it appears to have a memory leak. Keeping it on all day the program will take up to a gig of ram. In other words, come midnight Firefox can become unresponsive.

I've noticed that too, though it usually takes about a week for that to happen to me. It didn't used to... I haven't updated to 3.5 yet though, so I don't know if that's why or not.
Google Chrome's just a bit too light for my tastes. I can't do everything I need to with it. That's why I'll stick with Firefox even with the memory leak. :/ |

I have several browsers on my comp. I usually just use whatever one my mouse scrolls over first :P. I don't see much difference between the two programs.
Although, I am wondeirng, does Chrome have a favorites option like IE? |
