Well I finally got married, and am starting my way through the Kasimir Ruins. If you're wondering I married Felicity. And on Rune Factory 2 I'm gonna marry Rosalind.

I like RF 2. :D

And RFF looks like it'll be so much fun. I love all the bachelorettes from all three games. But especially RF 2 cause all of them were great in my opinion (except Cecilia, I'm not a big fan of her).

Bleh. I'm not sure where to put this. Making a new topic doesn't feel right, there's not a general tidbit discussion in the General Harvest Moon section, and I certainly don't feel like making one or endeavoring to think about if such a thing should be done. It's also 2 AM and I don't want to think right now.

Anyway, basically as of October 1st, the top ten most actively played Wii games (at least of people who have wifi and the Nintendo Channel can check that stuff) includes Rune Factory Frontier and Tree of Tranquility. Somehow I never actually really thought of these games as a really popular series. At least not popular enough to hang around on a list with Guitar Hero, Smash Bros., and Zelda.

I think this means that this site should be trying harder.

*Randomly came in a read Darth's post* RFF and ToT are up on the list? That's awesome! I agree, I didn't know RF and HM we're popular enough to make it on a list like that either. This sends good news.

But what do you mean by we should be trying harder?

Well, if Rune Factory and Harvest Moon are THAT POPULAR we should probably take more care in what the site's about. I mean, snap, most people on the forum don't even seem to care about the games anymore.

I do admit, I haven't played any Harvest Moon games in a while, but when I pick up AWLSE I'll get back hooked onto it like it's an addiction.

But I've kind of been reading less on the games on such because the most likely way that I'll be able to play it is if I ship it from overseas. There's still no news on RF2, RFF is meant to be released around now *Will check soon if it hasn't been pushed back*. But I know I could still be more into the information on the games. Maybe I'll get into the habbit for searching new information on the games.

And yay! HM and RF have increased in popularity!

I'm going to start a new file in Rune Factory Frontier. I really enjoyed the game, but stopped playing because I got it very busy. I have some more free time lately and not much to do at nights aside from work. So I'm really hyped to begin playing.

With that said, could I please get some suggestions? I don't think I did too well last time, since I couldn't even beat the first boss in the game =\ I was also a bit confused over the Runeys.

The Runeys are a bit complicated. Just work on money and fill up your fields with grass asap to produce more to distribute around the areas. I could get more indepth... but I sucked at it too. Maybe Marie could help... in her videos she always seemed to have plenty.

As for the first boss, do the first item quest for Kanno. Then kill it with fire.

How do I do the first item quest for Kanno? I'll pretty much be going into the game having forgot everything.

I had no idea the games were that popular either. Makes me feel like I should really be turning up the volume of my coverage (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif)

To stay on topic, uh... So far on Rune Factory 3, I'm trying to decide between Toona and Dahlia. I think Toona's winning this battle; I can't resist her sweetness :<

I always used the iron sickle to beat the first boss. Your sickle is an excellent weapon, more powerful than most swords. Just a few hits, and that chicken thing will be dead.

The secret to Runey health is, as Darth said, to plant grass and lots of it. Fully-grown grass causes green Runeys to appear, and since they're the bottom of the Runey "food chain," as long as they thrive, all the Runeys on your farm will thrive. Then you'll always have plenty to take to other places that are running out of Runeys.

I haven't made an RFF video in two months... XD Maybe I should try to get one or two up before my copy of RF3 arrives.

I recently bought RF1 again since my old copy was nicked a couple of years ago, it'd be nice now that I have wireless if I could use the wifi feature to connect with someone...?

If anyone's in the mood to play RF1 again (even if just for 10 minutes :P), post friend codes, mine's 4540 2436 0078.
