I was thinking about buying RF 2 or 3 ( I have a feeling that 3 will be easier to find), and I've creeped around on the Walmart, Costco, and EB Games websites (and Kijiji too) , but They don't seem to have them, or any of the Rune Factories/most Harvest Moons for that matter. Are these games still in production/being sold?
I think they have a copy on Amazon, but I'd really prefer not ordering online. Do you guys know if I still have a chance of finding this game? |

Ordering online will be your best bet. Overall the games have always been sorta niche, so most places probably wouldn't stock very many copies. Since getting them new is unlikely, you'd have to rely on EB Games to get a used one in. If for some reason you're warry of Amazon, you could always try to buy straight through Natsume, who at least have RF3: http://www.natsume.com/store/games/rf3/index.html

Rune Factory 2 copies stopped being made in Australia about two or so months after the release, as I found out by asking the manager. V__V; I'm so glad my friend found and bought me a copy from K-Mart. Sounds like you've checked everywhere, though. Like Darth said, online would be your best way. Hope you get them. 8D

I'm planning on going to search through the bargain bin at my Walmart too, because they don't list those games in their inventory, and I've seen the RFs there before, but that was probably over a year ago. I find that Gamestop/EB Games can be somewhat unreliable in my town. I tried to buy Animal Crossing, and they said it was out of production and that there were only second hand copies (found a new one at Waalmart) and they said the same about Animal Parade. I ended up getting my parents to drive me (about an hour) to some game store in a different city to get it.
If there isn't anything though, I guess I will have to either settle for second hand or order it. I'll let you guys know if/where I found it. Thanks for all the help :) |

I think they do, but the DS doesn't have region lock so it shouldn't matter where she gets it.

Then somebody in the states may be able to buy it and mail it to you, just saying.

In theory that would be great, but we don't have any close friends/family there, so I've got no one to buy it. I'm hopefully going on a search mission tomorrow to look for it. Are we not family? There are many of us in the states. some of us, I think, may even work there? |

Were you checking the EBGames site to check its availability? Because you might want to stop by the actual store. I know Gamestop isn't necessarily up to date all the time with that stuff, especially used games.
I went to a Gamestop about a month ago just to browse and saw a handful RF3s. Either way, as stated, it's easiest to order it off Amazon. It's still available there and not expensive. |
