I don't have the game just yet (grr, gotta wait 'til Christmas...), but other people do. As of today it is available in all game stores across Japan.
Here are some things I have noticed through the wiki: - Crop system is similar to IoH and SSaF (darn...) - Most actions are done with the B button now. The A button is strictly for jumping. The "menu" will only display your rucksack; there are no earnings/relationship/status charts on hand (all charts are accessible through the bookshelf). - For other controls, pressing the L button(?) will toggle walking/running, and the R button will open up a tool selection window. - Schmidt and Kagetsu are marriage candidates. It is unknown whether there are two more, but it seems unlikely. - Most of the townspeople are already available, with the exceptions of Schmidt, Kagetsu, and 4 other mystery villagers. The methods to unlock them are currently unknown. - The save system is like the old HM games. When you start a new game, you pick the slot you want to use (2 total). You can only save when you go to sleep. You cannot make duplicate/backup files (my guess is that it was implemented because of the Wi-Fi...). - Everything is in real-time. Time doesn't stop indoors (not even in your house), or when you open menus. So far there's no way to pause the game (except closing the DS), so I guess it's something to watch out for. -Jumping into the water will drop your stamina, but sometimes you can find items in there. Like money, medals, stones... Obviously I'll have a lot more info once I can try this game for myself. But that's what I've gathered this evening. ^^' Rival Couples so far: Juris & Freiya Agi & Anemone Lloyd & Shelfer Dirka & Enju This post has been edited by Nurse Fin: Dec 19 2008, 01:15 AM |

Great! Thanks for all the info <3
I like the sound of the new systems... it offers a good challenge I think ... But the rival couples.... UGH.... Anemone and Agi? How did that happen? Juris and Freja... I can kinda see that.... but it's just... meh... I unno I have a feeling Enju and Royd will end up together... ....and I doubt Schmidt and Kagetsu will have rivals Urgh... I can't wait until monday.... Thanks again for the info! |

Agi and Anemone? Please, please let the children system be good at least. because that couple doesn't seem right. And I thought for sure it would be Dirka and Anemone... At least I can see Juris and Freiya happening. I still don't like Angie and Loyd together, but it's better than with Dirka. This leaves Shelfer x Dirka, and Angie x Loyd as the other two couples. Unless, of course, Marvelous decides to wack it up and make it Shelfer x Loyd and Angie x Dirka. XP So unless Kagetsu and Schmidt get rivals, theres only one other good combination. *Grumbles* I still think it should've been Dirka and Anemone together...

Lloyd and Shelfer has also been confirmed as a rival couple.
And yeah, I don't like Agi either. Hearing more about the game, HE is shota too. ew. It's true; he's got a young girl's voice and looks very young in his portraits. So that makes half the bachelor population AND the main male character little boys. This game should be renamed "Harvest Moon: Welcome to the Shota Paradise" Dx This post has been edited by Nurse Fin: Dec 18 2008, 04:24 PM |

I have great anticipations of this informations. I don't know if it's because of the style all the characters have taken or what, but the game seems more alien to me than the usual Harvest Moon that won't be over here for a few years.
Hm... I kinda think any mystery villagers will be those cameo characters from past games again. |

Yeah... it seems very different, because it's less about farming.. and more about being a merchant or something... >_>

I'm confused. I've played about two days in the game and I still don't know how to sell anything. I know there's the Bazaar every week but is that really the only time I can sell stuff?

You can sell things to Mucho (little Mexican guy) any day of the week I think; I assume it would be the second option when you talk to him across the counter, but you don't get as much G as you would from the Bazaar. |

I still dont think that makes a difference. if theres others that look and seem likes kids too, why is there no complaining for them? |

well either way. I still dont think that makes a difference. if theres others that look and seem likes kids too, why is there no complaining for them? Personally I think they all look like kids ( main characters included ) so those candidates don't look younger, but look the same age as the mains. In ToT the main toons and the rest of the bachelors/bachelorettes looked the same age or older then the main toons, thus making Luna the odd one out. But in Wind Bazaar there is no odd one out, they all look young (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) well except for the specials and Freyja. At least that's what I think :3 I personally like Luna, so this is just an observation and may not be the reason for others :3 |

(and in my opinion mose in WB look like 5, but Dirka looks SHORT which is why people thought Luna looked so young, plus he looks like 3.) and I love how they thought she looked too young when they tried making realistic height differences, yet they loved it when they made every woman the EXACT SAME SIZE. so realistic. yet when they took out the realness of Owen being taller, everyone freaked out and got upset. |

I can understand you'd want to defend her. But I was just putting in my 2 cents for as to why people might think that way :3 Anywho this game definitely looks a lot different then most HMs. Going to be interesting to see what happens with it. I don't think I'll buy it though, but I may change my mind by the time it gets to America (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

So I got the game yesterday, and now I'm in Year 1 Fall.
My main comment: I want to udder-punch my darn cows. Every time I let them out, they DO NOT want to go back in. If you ring the bell they will only follow you for a few steps, and if you push them over to the barn they will start running back to the field before you can steer them in the other direction. They remind me of my dog. Ugh. So far the Bazaar activity is at 25%. At first, the goal is to make between 15,000-20,000G at the bazaar, but now it's been bumped up to 40,000-50,000. Hard to keep up... I find myself skipping through days a lot, going to bed at 10AM etc... I run out of things to do really. I'm waiting for Winter, since apparently that's when you can start foraging ores (since there is NO MINE), and they rake in a lot of cash (You can sell the lowest-quality gold for 8000G... opposed to the flowers you can find lying around in all the other seasons that are anywhere from 30-80G each. What a joke!). It's pretty easy to befriend people this time; even though it has integrated IoH's "don't talk to me and I wont accept your gifts" system, it's more lenient. And there are a considerably smaller amount of villagers. I have 1 heart with the 4 main bachelors just from talking to them regularly. |
