I don't remember selling my soul to you. Group: Veterans Joined: 13-March 09 |
Hey, guys. Pretty sure everyone here knows me (except for however many of you registered and were active after 2011.) For those of you who don't-
I joined RS in March of '09 (Jeez, that's almost five years ago...) and I was pretty active on it for a while. Around those years of activity, I made a lot of great friends. Some of these friends I fell out of touch with whenever I stopped being active. As for the others, there are a few that I've always been in touch with and am still really close to, but none of them are active here, anymore. My activity started dwindling for reasons that don't matter. I like RS a lot, I like having a forum to peruse, and I know I've "Attempted" to be active twice in the past, but I promise there's a good reason: Life really started to pick up for me about three years ago. I didn't have much going for me back in my early RS days. Most of you guys know that I was homeschooled back then, and had huge problems getting along with people. High school did some great wonders for me. I really immersed myself in Musical Theatre, I got to be in productions at my local community theatre (Footloose, Guys and Dolls, Once upon a Mattress, Miracle on 34th Street and even Xanadu: The Musical.) Having lead roles in a few of those led me to discovering what is now a big part of my life- opera. Btw, here's me singing Broadway type stuff. (I was like 14 around that time.) And here's me singing opera. (This was last year, so I was 17.) This kinda stuff has dominated my life. I went to study opera in Italy last summer at this place and have pretty much been in a musical since 2011. I even got to star as Valjean in Les Mis last spring. Aaand then there's been the schoolwork. Always been busy with that, but it paid off just fine. Next year I'll be attending Rutgers University's School of Arts and Sciences as a Criminal Justice major. One of my coaches from Italy works at the Met, so he said he can help me get desk jobs. So that's my life. That's what I've been up to and more or less why I can only occasionally pop in to say hi to you guys, but I'll try to pop in more often. How about you guys? How's your life been? (Yes, even you, Charmy. I want to know what you ALL have been up to these last three years.) |

Hiya! Welcome back Lenyo! :)
I became active a lot more last year after I realized there was no were else to turn to for talking about Rune Factory and Harvest Moon stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I'm a junior in art college in illustration which has been taking up all of my time. Been doing ok besides the huge amount of college home work. That's freaking amazing that you do opera, that's a very cool passion. ^^ |

AHHHHHH CRIMINAL JUSTICE BUDDIES :D So good to see you back. I was waiting for this post, Lenyo. Waaaiting. I saw you were on a few days ago and I kept wondering when you were freakin' gonna say something. I graduated high school in May of 2012. In August of 2012 I started going to community college. Didn't really know what for, but Chemistry sounded nice... I ended up falling out of that though when I transferred to the college of my dreams this past fall. I'm majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Digital Forensics at Sam Houston State University. <3 For a while socially I was deeply depressed, since I didn't know anyone on campus, and I still don't, but I've pretty much have learned to live with it, especially since now I have a special someone. <3 I wanna go into the FBI, so I'm really trying to keep my grades up so I can get an internship with them. :B |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) Chemistry majors are ridiculous. You were smart to change into something you're actually passionate about. I'm actually interested in the philosophy of Law (which I've learned is Jurisprudence) and Rutgers has a bunch of classes centered around that. My endgame is actually to be a judge, I'm really passionate in particular about everything regarding copyright laws and the internet, and being a judge could help me institute change. Law school/Being a lawyer is the first logical step, though and Rutgers is one of the top schools for that stuff. FBI is legit. I don't know anything about the inner workings of the FBI, but if it's anything like it is in Detective Conan/Case Closed... Must be pretty fun. Internships must be hard to wrangle, though, so do your best with that. Special someones are always nice. This is my girlfriend, Sierra, right hurr. She purty cyut. We actually met during Les Mis (when I was Valjean, she was the stage manager.) Dating has been a pretty healthy part of my life, and I'm glad you got someone special. I'd like to hear more about that later. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) |

Uh I joined in 2010 (College freshman with too much free time) when I finally had free time and I quit lurking on the site which I did all through out high school.
I been in college for five years now Currently a Senior on My way to graduating this April. The years flew by fast and my Activity on the site was Erratic because of all the schooling and me just not having internet at home all the times turns out they cut things off if the bill is too far over due. Got my first job in college in 2011 so happy I was I worked with my high school crush then she graduated so pressure was off ha ha. I am sad to leave university and my job this april but I will finally have more time to play Games and hopefully net a not so bad job with a not so bad commute. I am getting a degree in Game design so yeah there is that and I really need to get my State Drivers License. |

Dammit, I'm so e-old I don't even recognize anyone here.
I started posting here about a decade ago, back when it was still HM Evergreen, and HME had splintered off from HM Otaku. A decade ago, man. I was about twelve then, and now I have to start a career in politics. Weird as it is, the early- to mid-2000s Harvest Moon online community consumed so much of my time, and really played a huge role in working out who I am today. Crazy stuff.
