A friend recently got me this game on Steam which looks as close to Harvest Moon as anything else I've ever seen! I haven't tried yet but it looks really fun and I'm feeling my HM spirit seep back in as in installs. It has a very similar visual style to the older games and the same theme as the series, farming crops and animals while exploring for valuable items, building up your estate and befriending/romancing villagers.

Does anyone else have any experience with it or heard anything cool? I'll be reporting back once I've had a good shot at it!

People on the Harvest Moon subreddits seem to like it. Haven't played it yet myself.

It definitely seems like it's doing well. Still haven't managed to get a copy, but from what I hear about it's updates, jumping in later may actually be ideal. Always gotta love new starting options.

I have a copy now. It's fun, and I started a few new farms for the updates.

Is anyone getting this game for Nintendo Switch? I wonder how it feels on the Switch.

I ended up getting it on the Switch. There are a few things that are a bit harder on the Switch (or maybe take some time to get used to next to the PC version), but overall, it feels tight. I've sunk a few hours into it. My non-gamer fiancé has put about 80 hours into it.
