Oh yeah, I also loved the whole seed hybrid thing and that you had PAGES and PAGES of rucksack space that could only be completely filled if you used that cheat to get every single item. I liked the mines in this game because there was more to it than just earning gold, it became a story line and you'd find different tablets along the way.
I loved having the alarm clock which made things soo much easier and you didn't wake up every morning at 6am no matter what, you could actually take naps and not go straight into the next day. I liked having the different breeds of cow, too. One thing that did annoy me was that in the female version of the game the large space of "great" soil was gone and was filled with bushes and trees... Which was annoying because it didn't let you grow tons of different plants. One more thing that I just thought of was that it was so much better that some seeds could be planted all year round, or more than just one season and gave you time to harvest them without them rotting just because you're one day into the next season. I wish they'd continue with this style of HM game instead of reverting back to their old style. |

You could buy the great soil spot and grow crops there, but you have to buy the other stuff first, I think.

I loved this game so much. The graphics were just beautiful and the animals were so lively and had such adorable expressions. I loved watching the leaves fall from the trees that looked rather realistic and I love how everyone didn't always say the same thing. I also enjoyed how it was like a story book and everyone grew with each chapter and some unexpected things happened like (spoilerrrr) in the second chapter when Nina had died.
The only negative things I can really draw from this game is that it did drag on a little long some days and the typo's but every HM game has issues with proper grammar. Other then that, I loved Forget-Me-Not Valley. Everything was so vivid and something about how un-proportionate the valley was made me love it even more! Nami and Lumina are a couple of my favorite characters but I really cherish each and every one of them. :o) |

My favorite game of all the Harvest Moon games. ^^ Like everyone else I loved the graphics but also how there was a lot of things to do even if it was repetitive. I loved the grave cleaning game and that one game with the triangles that you played with the twins. There was also Vans famous "I LOST 50 POUNDS IN A DAY WITH MY NEW DIET!!!" event that always made me weirded out. I couldn't finish the game though it made me depressed that I was bound to die in the game. >_<

The fact that the game ended is a pulse to me, I just wish it would have been like this '...and he lived the rest of his days on the farm with his family..." not die for no reason and get out lived by an old woman who should have died in the fourth chapter.
I wouldn't mind if they made another Harvest moon similar to AWL, just make it have more things to do, and only one year per chapter. |

^Yeah, I kind of liked the fact that you died in the game. I liked how everyone slowly got older and how the town changed a bit throughout time. Great game!

I really liked the music. I don't know why, but the music really appealed to me. The town seemed lively and bright as well, as others have said, and I agree with Oscar. The way everyone and everything around you aged added to the game. I also like that the child actually grew up -- that's not common in harvest moon games now, and also the fact that your actions sort of controlled how they felt about you, the farm, and who they befriended.
I also like that the valley seemed very close-knit, everyone sort of knew each other and hung out with each other. I've noticed in recent games, characters don't have events together unless it's a rival event. I remember seeing a milk race between different characters, or seeing families have events with one another. You don't see that in the games nowadays. |

I loved Daryl's events! My favorite event was the one where your cow tried to get out of the pasture and run Daryl over because he was thinking about doing something evil to the poor thing.

I liked how the characters especially your son had so many lines.
I mean your kid said different things depending on what he was interested in. My kid went from going on about art and Cody to talking about how plants won't ever hurt you or something emo like that (I married Nami obviously (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ). |

MMV needs to make the new harvest moons have character interactions like they did in AWL.
I greatly disliked Nami's kid, he was such a pain and he made me feel bad for getting married to Nami. |

I liked Nami's son. He was so cute. And I didn't mind his personality.
Now Muffy's son sucked. What a brat >:(. I liked how the game was kind of like a story. Not a flimsy plot thing where the only motivation is collecting something *cough*HMDS*cough*SI*. |

I never married Muffy, so I wouldn't know what her kid was like.
I liked how real the farm felt, and how the farm animals would act. Now the horse was just annoying if you didn't know how to keep it in good heath, but still better then MM horses... |

They did stop doing events with the regular folks, didn't they? Like befriending them now doesn't give you much. If you befriended them in AWL, you got to see special events with them.

It was cute how in the end of I think chapter 1 or 2 the old lady dies ( her name escapes me....) and her husband moved next to her grave.. I think her name was lily? I dont remember (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I ended up marying Marlin... which.. I usually got bored of him... -Shows baby "Thats your kid?" .-. I also loved how the town's people had backstory... If I don't remember her name was Lorraine or lauren? her parents died or something? I haven't played the game in ages. I might even play it now ^^ I absolutely loved the pointless bear that Van would sell you after you had your child. Every time you would walk in it would looking around or doing some strange thing lux (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Like some of you said the graphics we're unbelievable. I usually, didn't know what to do when my cow went dry. e.e and even after I got her prego no milk argh... Forget-me-not-vally really earned its name c; |
