Have you ever thought about doing the new game+ and even if you haven't, what would you give your kid before he/she leaves to waffle island? You cannot give your child any significant tools (ie: watering can, camera), etc.

I have seen some youtube vids and some ppl gave 8x Roses or 9x Royal Jelly. What would you give or what have you given?

Spoiler::::Those who are not aware about New Game+: At the end of "New Game Plus" quest, you can give your child an item or items that will be given to new you in a new game. In other words you can give your son or daughter 99x swimming trunks and he or she pass it along in your "new game"

+++has anyone made a topic like this yet? I tried searching for it but I get an error+++

Ideally, I would give my child as many diamonds as I can refine.

Thats sounds like fun. I'd give my kid that cornmeal that is ever so needed for the Green Bell. Or ten good or better lettuces for the Yellow Bell, or a Gold Ore for the Red Bell.

Probably the gold ore like Rack said. That was so annoying to find!

Or maybe a perfect wool for the bigger rucksack, also took me a while a to get. Something like that.

I didn't know I needed it, so I didn't buy it at the animal festival, and I only had cows until like winter so I couldn't get it via sheep for a while as well.

What a disaster.

I'd either get as much rare metal as I could, OR, I'd refine as many diamonds as possible, like Sodina said. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I'm planning on giving my kid any of the following:

Good Cornmeal (for when I plan to marry Gill or the Witch)
Vegetable Pizza (probably most other times), or 99x Shining Bell Peppers

Or as many diamonds as possible. If not those, then as many Blue Mists as possible, or maybe... I dunno, however much Blue Silk Yarn I can manage. Just loads of something that sells high.

I ALWAYS give my kid Good Cornmeal so that in the new file, the green bell can be rung before summer.
OR.... a green bell pepper (for vegetable pizza) so that I can return all the circus animals before fall.

I was caught off guard by the option to give my kid something. And unfortunately all I had in my rucksack at the time was cheese. *sigh* -.-

But yeah if I knew I would have given my kid rare ores. Those things are hard to come by.
