Here's a video of Twin Villages (duh!) It's at the start of the game, so you can see the process of choosing a town and getting started. I wish I knew Japanese so I could play it already!

Wow. The game looks pretty interesting from that, and the narrator of the video spoke very simple, clear Japanese. I think I'll definitely be buying this game once I have the proper funds to.

That is a very nice find. I like how all of the buildings look in this game. Compared to Grand Bazaar, I think I'm going to get this one! If only we had Rumiko here to translate for us! ^_^

What would you want translated, Zboy? The text or the Narrator's comments?

I think either would be cool, but I think the information that would be cool is the text. The narrator is probably just going over the text.

The narrator is making comments and like 'talking to' the people in the game, so no, not really, haha.

I want to watch the video, but I won't. Because I would rather see it for the first time when I know what it means so I guess I'll just wait. For some reason when it comes to new games in Japan I always look up information and go to the official site, but I never watch any videos.

Exactly, Celia, that's why I asked. What the text says and what they narrator is saying (mostly things like, "OMG! Look at that cute cow!" and such) are two completely different things. Ehh... It'd take me a good long while, but I can probably translate at least the first five minutes of the video. That would have to be later though, as I have things to do right now.

I understand what you mean, though. |

Translation of the video
C = the woman who is talking about the game S = what you can read on the screen R = thats me summing things up C: I played Harvest Moon Twin Villages. Even if this is just the opening video it is really cute. Actually there is more opening video but for now we just shorten it. S: the keys are explained and she is selecting her character and is giving her a name. She is also selecting the birthday and stuff R: the woman is just saying things like..."there look this is ...XXX" S: was telling you the story that there are two villages you could chose. --> the screen changes and shows a forest with rope slides. C: Tanuki (badger). Panda. --> road with the horse cart R: I'm not understanding her completely because of the quality >_> like "ah no you had an accident!" C: The horse is asking you if you are alright. Huch, somebody is talking to you. S: you...are you alight? --> screen mayor Blueberry: Oh you are alright. Thank goddnes thank godness. mayor konohana: Do you have any injuries? Finding somebody out here, we were really shocked. mayor Blueberry: My could it be that you are Yukinko who is searching for a farm? As I thought! I'm the mayor of the village that the way on the left side leads to. Why are you not coming to my village? mayor konohna: what are you talking about? your village is no good C: It seems they don't get along well. mayor konohna: aah I raised my voice again. anyway why are not coming to the village on the right of the way? It's called konohana. I'm Ilza the mayor. C: and then...they are getting angry. It really seems that they don't get along. mayor konohna: yukinko should decide to which village she want's to go R: okay now the mayors are introducing their villages. the woman is mumbling something about how cute the cows are. she also recognizes that the village kind of has an european apperiance --> the screen text just explains what we allready know: blueberry is a village to raise animals. R: what else is she telling? she reads sometimes what is written in the boxes. like "oh a romantic feeling to the village" 3 minutes up to here! more translation will come late :3 my dad is watching something about soccer right now...he will kill me if I'm being to much of an annoyence (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Have fun reading! |
