I don't know if the scriptwriters meant this to come off as it did - I like to think they knew exactly how it sounded, myself. But in A Wonderful Life (and maybe Another Wonderful Life, I wouldn't know as I haven't played that one), if you talk to Wally at a certain time of day during a certain season (I think summer, daytime?), he says something like:
"I think beautiful, shining sweat is the symbol of a true man." ??? Is it just me or does it kinda come off like Wally's hitting on you there? I mean, he's a handsome man and all, but he is a married man. Thoughts? Maybe he's simply more addcted to fitness than we could have ever believed possible? |

His fitness addiction explains it pretty well, I think. It's just a typical line from that type of character.

I suppose so, it was just his choice of words that made me do a double-take. Then again, Muffy basically called your farmer "Sexy" and there was a scene (optional, but still in the game) about your dog marking its territory by peeing on her or something... so I guess Wally's lust for fitness is tame by comparison.
