I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Ottawa (hurr hurr home of Head Trip (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) ), until the 11th at the lastest to go visit my aunt who I've posted about before that has cancer.
She has a computer but I'll doubt I'll have any time or even want to go online. My dad visited her a few weeks ago and thought it would be best if my brother and I went as soon as we could because he figures she doesn't have much time left. I may be back earlier, it all depends on how she's feeling considering chemo supposedly makes people feel worse than they did before. Anyways, don't have too much fun without me. :) |

Ack, good luck. It's always hard to see family in pain like that.
Take care. |

Hmm, I was there just yesterday. Oh, I'm still here!
Well good luck, anyways. If she's in the hospital, which one? (out of curiosity) |

I hope she's not feeling too bad and that you get to have a nice visit with her. Eh, I've never been very good at wording that sort of thing. Anyway, I'll miss you while you're gone.

Ah, hopefully everything goes well. I'm pretty sure your visit will make her feel somewhat better despite the chemo. Bonne chance and take care! :D

I'm back, but she wasn't doing too good.
She's not at the point of hospitalization {is that even a word..?} yet but she's pretty bad. She's lost all her hair {which, despite what you see in the movies, they can't shave it all off, as usually their scalp becomes too tender and other reasons I didn't ask} and she probably now weighs about 80 pounds which was scary to see. I've never seen this aunt cry, ever, so that was pretty shocking. She can hardly make it up the stairs in her condo and, ugh, we think she'll probably have to go on oxygen soon. But, I got to meet a second cousin {my dad's cousin that he hasn't seen in 30 years} and their children. They own about 20 snakes, box turtles and some lizards. We might plan to visit her in a month but we'll have to see considering it costs so much money to rent a car. Why does life have to have more bad parts then good? -.- |

Because then we wouldn't appreciate the good ones.
Or something like that, anyway. I'm sorry to hear that she's in that kind of shape. I hope she pulls through the chemo and makes a full recovery. |

Yeah, I hope so too. It's just so shocking seeing her this way when she's been so healthy her entire life and active and now she can hardly walk up three stairs or eat a regular sized meal.
She starts her second round of chemo next week so let's hope things start turning around. -.- |

I guess you could say that without frowns, smiles wouldn't be as beautiful as they are right now. Or basically what Mizuki said. :D
I'm no good with words but yes, hopefully things will get better. |

Thankyou.
And yeah, I understand that most of life has to be bad just to make the good much better, but that doesn't make the bad parts any better. Especially since my past few years have been all bad parts lol. But thanks to everyone. :) |
