QUOTE Another one --- I know! :D This Harvest Moon will be called New posts 牧場物語 ふたごの村 (Bokujoumonogatari: futago no Mura) This can be translated to Harvest Moon: The Twin Villages. Gameplay and features described in the article found here Describe two villages (one called Bluebell, the other Konohana) that are designed in European and Japanese styles. In Blue bell the focus is livestock, and you can now raise ALPACAS! Wow! Inversely, Konohana is where you will focus on agriculture more. We've yet to learn how restrictive either village is with these activites. The two mayors will fight to have you move into one of their towns, where marriage candidates will appear certainly. Read more in the article!! Anyone else excited for it? The concept seems really interesting with the Japanese/European culture. I am always excited for any good DS games I can get my hands on, what about you guys? |

I'm excited. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)
I haven't liked the other handheld games because they were a bit complex for me. But I really like the idea of raising alpacas! It sounds like fun. Plus, having two different towns sounds cool - especially since they're based on two different cultures. |

Honestly, I'm not that excited... If only because I'm worried about how limiting the gameplay might be. (Whatwhatwhat? I have to choose? I can't do that!) I mean, it says that the mayors of the two villages fight for you to move there, but just how is that going to work? Do they fight at the beginning and you have to choose one over the other? Or do you get a farm in between the two villages as sort of a demilitarized zone? And what the taco bell do Alpacas have to do with anything? Do we even know if that part of it anything more than a rumor?
Too many questions... maybe when we get more info... |

I'm really ecstatic for this one. It sounds like so much fun, raising alpacas, going to different towns, flirting with marraige candidates, you know, the usual (IMG:style_emoticons/default/darth-toot.gif)

I'd just like to know what they mean by choosing towns. Do you just choose at the beginning of the game? Or can you actually travel between both towns and live wherever you want?
I really think they should slow the series down. They just keep pumping out games... |

Yeah they are pumping them out pretty fast now. I think Animal PArade and ToT could have been one game, as could have been the two IoH. I think Sugar Village and Wind Bazaar are great for the series, as they stick with the idea but draw on to it, specifically Wind Bazaar. I think this game will do the same, and that's why I'm excited. :3 The sequel to IoH in my opinion will be a complete waste.

This does sound exciting but I am dissapointed. We're not going to get this game for ages, and probably even longer for myself. I haven't brought any new HM games in ages....
And they need to slow down. >.> |

I thought it was already mentioned here. |

Alright, I'll admit... the game looks waffleing HILARIOUS. The towns are both cute (if very, VERY old fashioned) and if I do buy the game, I will probably spend all of my days in the Japanese town - whatever the taco bell it's called.
I still have my reservations about the gameplay and just how the taco bell this is all going to work, but it doesn't look bad. The Alpacas are gimmicky. Gimmicky gimmicky gimmicky gimmicky. There is no getting away from how much of a gimmick those darn Alpacas are. I swear, in this game, it's as if they wanted to combine "The Dog of Flanders" with "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter"... it's weird, and I'm not sure if that's in a good way yet. Thanks for the scans, Bloody-Red. |

OMG, I saw this and got super excited! I mean, the other Harvest Moon DS games haven't interested me in the least, but this one looks cool!! And the purple guy? Yeah, I'm so going for him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) At the moment, he's at the top of my list. I can't wait to get more info!! :D

The designs look cute. :3 It makes me take the game less seriously. D': But I'll admit, it doesn't look bad. I'm just thinking on what will come next.

This game seems like it'll be different. I'm no entirely sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing. I like the idea of having for than one town and being able to hopefully fully explore both. The idea of alpacas seems kind of odd though.... exactly what will they produce? A better wool? Hmm....
I do have to agree with the majority of you. It seems like there is starting to be wayu to many HM games being released. They practically announced Animal Parade right after the release of Tree of Tranquility. |

I'm fine with them pumping out games if they turn out to be half decent.
I can't wait for this and I think the idea of new animals {like the Alpaca... How is it gimmicky?!} is interesting and exciting instead of just sheep and cows. I like the style and can't wait to find out more! |

It's probably like goats. Goats and cows give the same thing, but do you still have them both? Yes. It's probably like that with sheep and alpacas. At first you can only afford the sheep, but then you get enough money to get the alpaca, which gives better quality. :]
