Who do you think are the most interesting and best written characters in HM and RF? With the best dialogue, most genuinely touching interactions, most detailed and original personalities?

Without going into too much depth, from my limited experience of the series I would go with my new avatar, Nami from Forget-Me-Not-Valley, who stood out to me as the most balanced and realistic personality, with a curious aloofness and individualistic distance from everyone else. She made a more lasting impression on me than other characters in the series, though I found others like the Witch Princess or Russell from RF1 to be more likeable.

I think that Murry's flies had a lot of personality.

It's probably the main reason I like Maria the most. It helps that she's involved with the most events, but she covers a lot of ground in HM64. It's not very original or dynamic, but she definitely didn't feel unrealistic, unrelatable, or too flat.

Hecking Nina and Galen. My heart didn't deserve that pain.
