Everytime I get married on MM, I have nothing to do after that. I normally run a three chicken/mining Farm so I get done fast. I make enough to survive. Man Mm is boring. Your kid never grows up, You look fat, and The husband says weird stuff. bored. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-iia.png)

I agree with you, Magical Melody does get really tedious after you marry and restore the Goddess. By the way, my farm in Magical Melody is animal-focused.

I actually didn't even bother getting married. I had the whole wedding thing, but right after it was over I thought "well I'm done with this game" so I just turned off it off and did something else. So since I didn't save I'm not married in my file anymore. I liked marring Jamie since the game ended after that. I don't know I might have liked the game more if every marriage ended the game. That way you could didn't have to bother having a kid in order to get all the musical notes.
*oops I just noticed how old this topic was as soon as I pressed "add reply" sorry about that" |

^It's okay. I also agree. I got married and then had my kid and turned off the game. I think this is the worst HM game. The main guy's butt is huge. D:

Honestly, this isn't the only HM game where that happens. In Rune Factory one, once you get married and beat the main storyline, you're as good as done. There is no reason whatsoever to play it again.

Frontier was way different. First off, your wife didn't become an absolute zombie once you married her. She didn't just stand next to your bed and say the same one line to you over and over again after marriage. RFF fixed a lot of the wrong things that RF1 had.

This is where HM suddenly becomes a realistic life-sim.

Yeah MM does do that to you, that coupled with everything else that was wrong with this game. The characters only saying one thing the entire day, the teleporting characters, the ugly art style... I could go on and on...

Didn't like it, either. I think I married, tortured my kid cuz he couldn't grow, then turned off the game.
Ogod. Kozu, I'll add for you. The voices people made when you first spoke to them. "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeh! 8D" 8[ |

KATIE'S VOICE! AHH!
Lol, even with that voice of her's, she was still one of my favorite villagers. As with Dan's high pitch shriek. |

I laughed my head off at some of the noises the villagers make the first time I heard them. Especially Martha's constipated-sounding "MuuUUuuh!" and that violent puking noise Theodore makes when you give him a gift he loves. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Oh yeah I remember that. They really did make annoying noises. If I remember right I think Dan made a noise I really hated it was high pitched and weird.

I got married to Ray, had a baby, and later on I just got bored of the game. :/
I just made money and pretty much lost interest. But it was still a fun game, nonetheless. |

helk, I got bored BEFORE marriage in this game... I married Alex and was rich, had only a few notes left to go...
Then I was like "What am I going to do while waiting for the baby to be born? Or until the cow and sheep festivals?" I mean, I had Ray and Basil (and I think some other bachelor) at about 9/10 hearts, so they were hitting on my married farmer, but it was BORING. I'm tempted to have her destroy everything she possibly can and scrape by with just Alex as support, nagging her about her health the whole time. As much as I enjoy this game, they really dropped the ball a LOT of times in it... |

After marriage I:
Left all of my animals in the rain and let them die Attempted to murder Nina, my wife Attempted to murder Sylph, my son Attempted to murder Pikachu, my dog Attempted to... The list goes on and on. |

What about sordid, spicy affairs? What about sordid, spicy affairs?!
I think my next move will to be to drive all the loseable villagers away and wallow in despair. |
